Its about £20 secondhand - I can't see any downside. I have one - it sounds good and you can get some nice valvey grit in your sound. Becasue of the band I'm in I use the brown acoustic version ADI21 a lot more which I also have which is very useful with with acoustic & upright basses as well as making my stratacoustic sound a lot classier than it deserves. If you look after it it isnt going to fall apart (despite what some would have you believer)

That kind of sunburst would probably look good over ash where you could see the grain.

If Adam was asked to design a car I wonder if he'd come up with this:

Please stop posting these pics - I'm a recovering bassoholic and I'd been gas-free for over two weeks until I opened this thread.

According to their website they're on their hols until Wednesday 6th. They should have set up an auto responder on their email to let people know though. Are they the ones that like to find bands on myspace & keep spamming them with special offers dressed up as a personal message?

If I saw someone using a capo on bass, I'd probably assume he was a numpty who doesn't know his fingerboard very well.

like the S1 switch on US jazz basses a few years ago, putting the single coil pickups in series is supposed to make the bass sound a bit more chunky like a precision.

One of those daft-looking criss-cross ones...

an all-original 1966 daphne blue fender mustang in near-mint condition with lollypop tuners & creamy pearl pickguard

the grey stuff I used came from a now sadly closed-down hardware shop (turtles in Croydon). Iti similar to but a lot finer than the green bit of kitchen scourers and is sold as an alternative to wire wool.
