1. I'm Looking at trading my G&L L2500 tribute. There's nothing wrong with the bass, I love it! I just don't see eye to eye with the low B string. Id like to trade for an L2000 (carved top preferably) or something of equal value. No daft offers please. The L2500 has a natural satin finish and is in mint condition. It's set up beautifully and sounds brilliant with the infamous G&L growl. This bass has a 3 way pickup selecter, and a 3 way preamp selecter (passive, active and treble boost, great for slap) It also has a series/parallel circuit selecter. This bass has a 2 band eq knows and volume knob. One of this basses main features is the G&L locking bridge. Additional to this, the bass comes in a hard case to keep it handsome. Cheers x
 2. Ye i bought it second hand. infact it could be nearly as old as me haha I didnt buy it from here though. But youre right, very powerful with classic tone. you cant beat it
 3. after a lot of thought, i have come to the conclusion that i should keep this amp Thanks Sam
 4. i used to have to change my strings once a month. but with elixirs, i dont hhave to be changed for between 3 - 5 month. although they dont sound as "zingy" as say d'addario's, they deffinatly keep their tone!

I must say - it is a revelation, it sounds like lots of basses i've owned, but none of them have been able to do more than one thing. This does everything. I got it from Bass Direct a few weeks ago after being curious and asking Mark to get one of these Carved Tops in. When I got there it hadn't turned up, so I played a Walnut Stain one instead which was awesome. I waited around 6 hours (it's not like there was nothing to look at!) and the courier came, got it out the box and decided there and then it was coming home. It's first gig coming up this Saturday .
beautiful
 6.
Hiya all! Iv just turned 18 and been playing for about 3 n a half years. Right now im playing my "customised" fender jazz bass and a musicman stingray through a trace elliot AH400SMX and a 2x10 and 1x15 setup. before this i had a mexican fender jazz which served me well for a few years. my "customised" fender jazz is a usa 2003. was a highway one which i picked up second hand from a local music shop for £450. it was a complete mess. half of the paint work had come off, a bit of a messy colour to start with, high action, and the bridge saddles were stuck so i couldnt adjust the action, neck was like a bannana and the body had been through a lot. i bought it with the intention of doing it up. and that i did. i had the neck streightened new brige saddles stripped the paintwork replaced pickups with fender custom shops and use without scratch plate. now it plays like a dream and looks pretty good too. ill put up some pictures soon
my beautiful jazz bass (sorry about the bad light) my rig. mon the trace. heres my family, G&L L2500, Fender Jazz, Musicman Stingray
