    I don't think a) that it was a particularly bargain price and I made "personal" comments. I'm sorry you've construed them as such. They were meant to be helpful. This is the problem of buying new and selling straightaway.

    With respect, I can get this exact bass new for that- might be difficult to sell s/h for that price, in these times I'm afraid. I sold my 55-01 dlx for around £500 and bought a 55-01 regular for £380 not so long ago. Great basses though!

    I don't understand how you expect to make a sale without indicating a price? I presume you have a price, but the potential buyer has to go the effort of PMing you? Sort of puts me off a bit! Nice bass though.

    I had no idea people had beef with HF, I think he's great and has always come across as a nice guy and humble to me. Anyway, back to the thread - anyone know how much these will be sold for? Talkbass people are suggesting $2500-$3000!
