4. Fair enough - going on eBay. I 'll update with the link when it's done.
5. Thanks! There's nothing worse then crappy phone pictures and no description. A bit of effort goes a long way, I think. Saying that, I haven't sold it yet :-)
6. I'm going to ship this for free! OR pick it up for £450. Priority to people who can pick up.
7. Still for sale- reasonable offers?
8. Thanks for the kind words Ben & Plumbob! This is still available. Played it today - sounds fabulous.
9. How about a TC Electronic Rebelhead 450? People are going crazy about - recently Janek Gwizdala and Richard Bona have become endorsees - and I LOVE mine!
10. Wow - good price for a great combo!
11. File not found Dave - any thoughts? Tried to save but only 2.2kb!
12. Story of my life! PM sent!

14. Hi all - for sale is my Markbass LM2 Limited edition in fantastic condition, with a flight case included. Firstly, here's the lowdown from Markbass themselves: "Recently voted "Best Bass Head" and "All-Around Best New Product" by the readers of Bass Player, our top-selling amp has made history with its stunning combination of great sound, compact size and light weight (6.4 lbs). Identical to the head included in all our CMD and mini CMD combos, this unit is truly the flagship amp for the Markbass sound. Its small size allows for easy transportation, but its sound is nothing short of professional. Also offers a bonus XLR balanced input for double bass pickups." Here's the technical stuff: INPUTS INPUT impedance 500 Kohm, max. voltage 15 Vpp BALANCED INPUT (XLR) impedance 22 Khom, max. voltage 25 Vpp EFFECT RETURN impedance 22 Kohm, max. voltage 25 Vpp CONTROLS GAIN -80 dB to +23 dB range MASTER VOLUME GROUND LIFT switch on rear panel EQUALIZATION LOW center frequency: 40 Hz; level: ±16 dB LOW MID center frequency: 360 Hz, level: ±16 dB HIGH MID center frequency: 800 Hz, level: ±16 dB HIGH center frequency: 10 kHz, level: ±16 dB VPF (Variable Pre-shape Filter) center frequency 380 Hz (cut) VLE (Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator) frequency range 250 Hz-20 kHz (cut) OUTPUT LINE OUT balanced XLR, max. voltage 10 Vpp EFFECT SEND unbalanced, max. voltage 20 Vpp (pre-EQ) TUNER OUT unbalanced, max. voltage 25 Vpp SPEAKER OUT speakon, 1/4" OTHER WEIGHT 6.39 lbs / 2.9 kg DEPTH 10.1 in. / 25.6 cm WIDTH 10.87 in. / 27.6 cm HEIGHT 2.8 in. / 7.1 cm OUTPUT POWER 300W RMS @ 8 ohm, 500W RMS @ 4 ohm POWER REQUIREMENT 100/120V; 230V; 240V 50/60Hz (Voltage is factory preset according to region of sale) Okay, let's get to some pictures. The flight case was purchased by me and the foam inside cut to size to accomodate the head, and also the speakon & kettle lead. Please note that I am including the kettle lead but not the speakon lead. Ideally I'd like this picked up - I'm in Chelmsford, Essex (close to A12 which is close to M25). I can ship at the buyers' cost. Priority given to people who can come and collect. This is a really fabulous amp - I'm only replacing it with a TC Electronic Rebelhead 450 because it has a few things on it I like (compression/presets etc). It's in no way due to the deficiency of this amp. I've used this MB head with a 2x10 traveler (at 8ohms, 300w) with a 4x10 MB cab (same) and with them together (full power 500w @ 8ohm) and it's sounded huge with headroom to spare in all situations. I find the VLE and VLC on it so powerful that I tend to use that instead of EQ. More often then not I have all completely flat - something Markbass excel at. This is the limited edition Marco 08 version - a run of only 500, all personally inspected for QC by Marco, head of Markbass himself. It was also signed by him on the top in gold pen, as you can see in the photographs. Feel free to PM or email on mikemcgibney AT gmail DOT com. No trades thanks, and it's a firm price (and a very fair one, I think!) Thanks for looking! Regards Mike
15. Hi all Here's some improv from Mike Stern. I think his double player sounds fantastic - can anyone tell me what EUB he's playing? Although I'm aware of course that tone comes from the fingers and soul ! Regards Mike EDIT: thanks "bythesea" for showing me how to embed videos!
16. PM's replied - casual interest but nothing firm for the Cort 5 of JB 4. Open to reasonable offers!
17. Bump - Lakland now sold. Cort still available, as is the Jeff Berlin.
18.
Has the lakland sold?
Still under offer, looks like it's gone though. I'll update once I know for sure!
19. Moon Bass SOLD! And removed from original ad.
20. Lakland and Moon basses are under offer - Cort & Jeff Berlin still available.
21. Pictures are a bit small, any chance of making them bigger?
22. Thanks Waldo, I might give that a try. Shouldn't they automatically resize to fit the screen? I wanted them at a high enough quality so people could see any flaws I was trying to photograph!
23. Yes, tremendous basses. Very comfortable to play too! Thanks for the comment!
