1. Also selling a Dean Jeff Berlin 4 - see this thread!
2. I owned one of these - great basses!
3. All sold - Jeff Berlin still available though!
4. Done the survey but IMHO very poorly written and lacks professionalism. As well as the numerous spelling errors, you ask the question, do you have loop bypass, or do you know what one is. I ticked no - then had to answer more questions about the bypass with no n/a option. Did you run this past your professors/tutors? Regardless, happy to help. Good luck with it.
5. Looks like a Tal Wilkenfeld Special to me!
6. This is currently under offer.
7. Hi everyone, Selling my Markbass cabs having recently just been using a 4ohm Tech Soundsystems cab. This is a front ported, 8 ohm 4x10 Markbass cab in excellent condition. Tweeter & tweeter level control. Sounds huge, and very clear and defined. The traveler 2x10 is very light, rear ported and has a bespoke cover. I have used this on it's own with an amp for smaller gigs, and it sounds great. Looking to shift these quickly - £850 will get both. I'd really like to sell together. If there's no interest I'll consider splitting. I'm based in Chelmsford ( CM2 ) very close to the A12, near the M25. PM me or hit me on mikemcgibney AT gmail DOT com. No trades please! Cash on collection or online bank transfer.
8. Yep, disgusting and irritating!
9. I think it's the actual skill of the luthier rather than a blanket statement that it won't work. Jon Shuker made me a lovely 5 string at 33" and the B string is lovely!

11. Very interesting! I've only started playing on the jazz scene in the last 6 months (normally I am a functions player) and I am developing my vocabulary as a soloist. It's taking time and a lot of effort but I'm getting there. With one of my regular jazz groups I got irritated whenever my solo came along and all the other instruments bar the drums drop out - with the drums doing that classic open hi-hat "taa taa-taa-taa, taa-tee-taa, taa-tee-taa" feel, if you get me. Frankly I felt I was probably making it drag enough as it was without the drums holding it back too! I like the guitar or piano to carry on comping - helps me play inside and around the changes more successfully. Interesting thread though!
12. So what's the app then?
13. Still available. Still as new - unplayed!
14. Great interview, Janek!

RIP R,5,R,5...

Oh dear - very sad news. I met him at a bassbash and he seemed taken with my 68 fender jazz fretless. Seemed a thoroughly nice chap. Very sad.
16.
Should be sodding illegal to sell things you don't have in stock without advising people before taking their money. Never known any other industry have this acceptance for it, but all music stores seem to think it's ok to promise quick delivery, take your money and then say it'll be a week or something before they get it in stock. Defeats the object of online shopping if you have to ring up and speak to them to make sure they actually have an item you can buy. AAAARRRGGGGHHHH
Happened to me recently when I ordered some music software for the school at which I work. After half a week of waiting, the status turned to "out of stock" . Very disappointing. After an angry email, it actually arrived quite promptly. Regards Mike
17. FWIW, I thought the same! Good luck with the sales, OP!
18. Welcome to basschat... Where are you based?
19. But in this case I suspect that was kind of the point!
20. PM Sent.
