  1. cleared out a load of pictures from the archives, so I have some space back will look at compressing pictures going forward
  2. I'm no IT expert, so don't know any of this Thank you, it makes sense thank you
  3. I'm struggling to post pictures because the file sizes are too big. Is there a limit to how much can be posted please?
  4. Thankyou. Yes just about back to normal now
  5. I cant post either of mine as the files are too big and I dont know how to make them smaller '73 Pbass and '64 Hofner 500/1 (there's also a '67 SG Junior, late 50s Hofner Commitee acoustic too)
  6. I also had one made to this spec, white with Chrome. it was lovely serial number NB12679
  7. I bought a fretless neck from these guys, 10 years ago. It was fine and is still holding up today https://eyparts.com/ having just looked, the necks are hard to find but they are there
  8. I think that would have been Jonathan Noyce
  9. lol, yeah I did a few shows with my guitar amps in 2007/08. The noise!! Fun though
  10. Well it works I have no idea what I'm going to do with it Yet😂
  11. Agreed. Such a gentleman
  12. just turned up. Off work early today so should get a chance to have a play after I've walked the pooch
  13. ordered yesterday. fingers crossed
  14. Hi Brad, welcome. I love the ABC stuff. Chris T was a friend of mine, really great working with him. You've played some great stuff, on some great stuff
  15. my 80s duo has about a hundred songs. I switch them about a fair bit but since the keys player has been on shifts, we haven't learned anything new for about a year The 80s band though has the same set from its conception 4 years ago. We've added 3 or 4 more since then and can leave or add them in. Police tribute is pretty much the same songs learned when I started it 17 years ago. But it's more than 2 x 45 minuts sets, so can switch numbers in and out
  16. I have an almost immaculate P bass special from about 1981, I had this as my lounge bass but realised that I was starting to gouge ths one as well, so put it away. Good band name Gouged Out!!
  17. I wonder if the custom shop could replicate this bass of mine The wear under the G string is casued by my third finger digging in when I play with a pick (mostly I play with a pick) This bass has done a lot of gigs in its 34 years with me. The wood is actually gouged out, not just the finish It's actually a '73 not a'75 (I have the original bridge with the long screw for the G string intonation)
  18. when I was making guitar amps, I had a trade account with them. When testing new things on the amps, always put a fresh set on roto yellows on which ever guitars I was using. Had many sets of RS66 too. that was 18 ish years ago. Great strings
  19. I had a set but they were too stiff for me, switched to Fender flats 45-100
  20. I worked with a bloke who was going to buy the 'First Class' monika. luckily it didn't happen
  21. most useful purchase was the MI-PRO 58 wireless IEM system Most not used, Ashdown preamp pedal, it's a great bit of kit but not used in anger (yet) Most interesting must be my early 1964 Hofner 500/1 beatle bass and not bass related, my Brain May 'Super' red special
  22. 30 to 40 per year for me these days. Used to be about a hundred for many years but over the last 15 years down to about 50 a year, but I'm finding more time off is better
  23. I'm sending my show reel in, thanks for the heads up😀
  24. yes I did pay duty and vat. It was still a good solution at the time. I read somewhere that they were still active, so maybe their website does need updating
  25. Hi Ian my wife put these on her Precision, 11 years ago https://fretfx.com/ they worked very well but we had to get a replacement as one LED went out. It was replaced under warranty but the glue pulled the nitro laquer from the neck. It didnt matter because the new one covered it over hope you're ok matey
