  1. Great Chorus! And the Flanger is particularly fantastic.
  2. My first decent bass when I was young. Beautifully made and sounds fantastic, you don't see the original teardrop case often either. Unfortunately, very bad judgement on my part, forced me to sell my Musician for buttons, wish I'd kept hold of it.
  3. Actually that would be spot on for me! My perfect 70s jazz.
  4. Ahh one filter ive not tried! If i hadnt just bought a Seamoon Funk Machine, I'd be all over this 😁
  5. Aah typical! Was waiting till Thursday to buy that Octabass, you snooze and all that 😂
  6. Aww cheers Pal, it'll change again as I've a Saeamoon Funk Machine incoming lol!
  7. Wow! A big box Cali and a Noble are high on my want list, actually so a 3 leaf Octave 🙄
  8. Wow that's a lot of pedals 😁
  9. Oof that's a Heavyweight board! I love it 😍
  10. Yep! fantastic pedal.
  11. So finally got time to reshuffle and with a bit of Jiggery pockery, managed to fit another pedal on the board. So in the synth loop, after the Frantabit I have put a Copilot Orbit - Frequency Modulated Fuzz- An outrageously cool pedal which has 2 sections and a blend to move between them. On the left is a Gated fuzz, in the vein of a Mastatron/Wooly Mammoth. The right hand side has a VCO/ Ring Modulator, which just makes these mad, synthy laser gun sounds, which can also be controlled with an Expression pedal (must get one, no two). This version appears to have been modded with a clean blend, although I don't use it as not needed.
  12. A Tuner? A POG isn't the right octave to feed into fuzz, but a boss LS2 will enable you to run an Octave and fuzz in parallel, which sounds massive. +1 to phaser
  13. I always thought these basses come with the splittable ceramic/Steel CS-TW pickups. They must have changed to DC! great sounding pickups though 😁
  14. Lovely! Just what I'd be looking for, but skint and import taxes would make this far too expensive.
  15. No worries! Never bought a pedal yet,that I haven't paid for 😂
  16. No, I bought it and paid you via bank Transfer as you requested on Dec 13th 😁
  17. My goodness, there's somethibg you don't see every day. Absolutely stunning work of art, as all Smiths are.

    NPD Mu-Tron III

Goodness that just reeks! Funkier than a Mosquitos Tweeter 😍😍
  19. I know, Brassmasters are cool! My Fuzz cup runneth over at the mo.
  20. Lol I could, but it means they are all crammed in,and I like nice gaps. I'd made a small pedalboard for my NYE gig, and forgot to put the pedals back,so hastily put it back together. I was having problems with the power cables fitting,But it's doable.
  21. Had a rehearsal last week, so hastily hard to rebuild the "Big board" got a few new additions, so thought I'd get it on the Thread 😁 EBS Microbass 2 - A/B box/ Preamp/DI/ Overdrive/ headphone amp and Effects loop. Very very useful bit of kit and great quality sound. In the loop I have all of the effects, so I can use them through the Headphones. FEA Labs Optifet Compressor- Beautiful Warm and versatile comp BOSS LS2 - splits the signal after the comp, so all effects have compression beforehand. Has two seperate lines of FX thst I can switch between or run in parallel Loop A - general effects. Emma - Okto Nojs - Octaver and synthy Dynamic Fuzz in one pedal, can be used individualy or combined for Dirty Madness Cog Custom Grand Tarkin "Trooper fuzz" - based on the "Green Russian" but with a Filtered clean blend (only clean lows, mids and highs are fuzzed) and a handy mid control. It had me at the Stormtrooper Etching 😂 MXR - Bass Envelope Filter- my 4th! playing with it today, reminded me of what a perfect little thing it is. EBS Unichorus - Chorus/Flanger and pitch mod. Gorgeous Analog tones in a bombproof box EBS Dphaser - As above but a funky, swirly, fat and very cool Digital Phaser. I love this thing Donner Deluxe Mini tuner- kept losing the Headstock thing and got fed up of asking the the Keyboard player to give me an E 😂 Loop B - Synth Channel 3 Leaf Audio GR2 Envelope filter- very fat and resonant filter with a handy Effects loop, so anything in it, doesn't hit the input Detection stage, making for very dynamic synth sounds. This is set for a funky Downsweep, in the loop we have the following Iron Ether Subterranea - Octave/Synth- is a fantastic lofi sounding octaver, with two synth voices and 3 waveforms for each. Very dirty and Analog Synth sounding! I love it Iron Ether Frantabit - Bit Crush and Sample rate reducer- very funky/noisy/mental pedal that's actually really really musical and sounds fantastic. One of my favourite pedals 😂 I also have a Copilot Orbit (Modulated fuzz/VCO) and a Malekko mini filter, but no room. Currently deciding what to do with them.
  22. I had my first band practice with my new Euro 4LX, last week, and you're right! cut through beautifully, and has a really bright modern tone, but with plenty of depth. My band mates loved it, and out keyboard player (who is also a great Bassist) now wants one 😂 It doesn't do warm P tones though,so brought a P as well 😁
  23. I just think these basses are like works of art. Been in love with them, since I started playing and love mine to bits. I want a 5 string next though 😁
