  2. Just got a text from my brother saying he's interested in the guitar. Small world.
  3. My band played "Message In A Bottle" on a gig a couple of weeks ago. Amazing response from the crowd. Everybody singing along. Made us think we need to get some other Police tunes in our set.
  4. PM sent mate
  5. I played a bar gig on Saturday and used my usual setup: Aguilar DB680 preamp through a power amp into an Aguilar DB410 cab. Bass was my white Jazz, although I often use my 1974 Jazz Bass too. 6. I just received this pedal. I'm looking forward to trying it out on my bass. Sadly, the guitarist in my band has already nabbed it. Pretty great "choir of angels" sound. https://youtu.be/RsDl0An5QBI
  7. Being based close to Glasgow, my band has been using Berkeley 2 studios for some time now. It's an absolute pleasure to play there. 14 large room- each one air conditioned, full PA and mikes. Bass rigs - either Aguilar, EBS or Ashdown heads into Ampeg 8x10" cabs Guitar - two Marshall half stacks CD playback and recording facility included in each room. £28 for 3 hours. A couple of weeks ago Biffy Clyro were in the room next door to us. http://www.berkeley2.co.uk/
  8. Bar Gumbo in the west end - Byres Rd, have free live music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. good range of stuff on there. They're a great venue to play - they pay well and look after the bands, and there's no charge to the clientele.

  13. Anyone fancy a cheap and cheerful octave pedal? The octaver is in "unused" condition. Still in its plastic packaging in the box. It's just sitting in my pedal stash at home when it should be getting used. So, if any of you want it, £12 will get it delivered to your door.
