When I got my TRB it had a Delano Sonar something-or-other in it. Lovely sound/tone but very low output - less than unity. It was replaced with the original TRB pre as I wanted to keep the bass original.

Dunno Geoff - the official site http://www.straus.co.kr/bass.htm calls this model the 504FM / 504QM / 504T / 504 AS depending on finish / pickups / controls
Strange that they didnt name them the 404 , and named the 5 strings as 505 but they dont list any 5 strings on their site
Go figure

I have a smaller hand and started with a Jazz bass as I thought the narrowness might suit - it did, but the main prob is in movement up and down the neck, not so much across. I now find I use my pinky finger a lot more than most other bass players. This is how I achieve my span. I currently play 5 sting basses with around the full 19mm spacing at the bridge (TRB 5 snd BBGN 5) so working across the strings is no problem.
Practice and use all fingers.

At the moment I don't know, but a 5mm screw does't fit - maybe a 5.5mm? I'm looking, really, for a black one with no tip.
Just shot an enquiery to Staytrem, who seem to do one. Bit expensive though.

I read that mini humbuckers were designed (by Epiphone) to fit into the hole used by P90's, so, conversely, a P90 in a plastic shell (not dogeared) *ought* to fit straight in.
