1. Great time in Abercarnage tonight and first full-on gig for the SuperChangonians. Went down really well and got soem repeat bookings as well which was cool. Only blip was the drummer's stick snapping and a piece flying off and hitting the ' mute all channel' button on the desk! What are the chances? Took us a while to work it out but we covered well by doing 2 solos each! (An advantage of playing in a psychedelic jazz funk band!) Edit: Forgot to mention that at the after party ended up having a chat with Burke Shelley and what a thoroughly nice chap he is!

Met Richard Bailey a couple of times whilst working for Mr Winwood - top guy! Wish I could make this one.
3. How to look on stage? I use my eyes, same as anywhere else! Edit: Great video though!

5. Quicktime slows down, loops and pitch shifts and it's probably already on your Mac.
6. Haha I like it! Makes me think of walking through a Moroccan restaurant and into a funk gig.
7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHGmLceBHMI This would be us doing Gil Scott-Heron
8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxiL9lZAZng My New band giving it some Gil Scott-Heron style Edit: Oops wrong video! That would be 'William DeVaughn' style then.
9.
I was hoping you'd be along! Yes, that's what I thought too. The headstock doesn't look as though it's been reshaped though, if it had, I would've expected it to be as bad a job as the paint job on the neck. Yep, it's a 32" scale. Any idea where I'd find a wiring diagram? Thanks!
On closer inspection, of course the headstock has been reshaped! Edit: Wiring was fine, pickup is knackered.
10.
Assuming it's not a prototype, there's nothing fancy under the bonnet... Vol, Tone & a 3-way pickup selector (Neck/Both/Bridge). I'd venture it *might* have been re-pickuped as well as carved about - my 1981 TSB has staggered exposed poles & the p/ups aren't sealed. Pete.
Too fancy for me! Wiring doesn't look quite right, only neck pup connected to the volume which I guess might be the problem? Mine is the same as the 400 at the very bottom of this page - poles aren't exposed, cream pickups (which is the same as mine hiding under that black paint) If you have any pics of your wiring, I'd be really grateful to see them so I could compare.
11. Actually, Ice Cube claimed he wrote it and Charles Wright had to go and have words... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6y-il5RQPQc
12. Is this a real P? The seller says it's 1970's but it seems a bit cheap and plasticky to me...... 16. Bought this off of the 'Bay. Has anyone seen a headstock shape like this before? The neck was painted by one of the previous owners and I've already started the restoration process. Bridge pickup doesn't work - how can I test the pickup as it's a sealed unit?
17.
Really nice SB-900 here - http://www.ebay.co.u...9#ht_1612wt_937 It may go for cheap as it's collection only. If anyone wants me to pick it up and post it for them (after looking after it for a few days ) then I'd be happy to!
Someone gota bargain - sadly, it wasn't me!
18. Funk punch straight to the er... something
19.
Not surprising, really. I'd rather wear the dress and wig than be seen dead in that white shirt/black t-shirt combo. What was he thinking? Plus, he's proving publicly that he's a miserable stuck-in-the-mud party pooper, too. Though he is a guitarist, so... what d'you expect?
Wig? Wig? That's my bloody hair!
20. Really nice SB-900 here - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160836045858?_trksid=p5197.c0.m619#ht_1612wt_937 It may go for cheap as it's collection only. If anyone wants me to pick it up and post it for them (after looking after it for a few days ) then I'd be happy to!
21. Not entirely sure why we wore dresses but I swear I wasn't the only one! The singer (pictured) chickened out but everyone else was trannied up too. Miss that bass too.
22. If I were you I'd book some small gigs. When there's a tangible objective it gives people much more motivation to turn up to rehearsals.
23. There's also a jazz jam in Shot in The Dark in Cardiff on the last Sunday of the month. The best open mic night in the world though is every Thursday at Koko's! Funk and soul by the bucketload with some jazz, reggae and African music thrown in for good measure.
24. Is this a record for a thread resurrection? Over 5 years!
