1. Atmosfear - Dancing in outer space?
2. Fantastic bass but as above the fact that it is bright green will only reduce your potential market. Money is tight at the mo' and buyers are being ever so choosy. I'd hold on to it and enjoy it if you can afford to.
3. If you're near Coventry I would've thought this was quite a good buy: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=21590
4. That looks fantastic. I'm seriously jealous. If used Warwick prices weren't so crap at the mo' I'd happily sell my Dolphin to part fund a Sad.
5. The Tommy Cogbill bassline on Dusty Springfield's version of "Son of a Preacher Man" is a personal favourite of mine.
6. I'm in. Pm the details please.
7. Tried the guitarist's Diago last night at rehearsal. Still hum city when the Korg is plugged in. It looks like the Shredfreak PSU isn't to blame after all.
8.
More often than not the issue I have with house sound guys is that they're rockers. Not that I have anything against rockers, generally, but they tend to have a pretty rigid idea of what the bass is supposed to sound like, and with the bands I do it's not really what my bass ought to sound like. I suppose it works for 90% of the bands they get in, but it means I always have to be "the awkward one". Sometimes you get a guy who's happy to change things up to suit the band's sound, but more often it's arms folded and staring at you like you're speaking Japanese.
+1

10.
The hum comes because the Shreadfreak supply is an inferior product to the Diago.
The guitarist in my band has a Diago powering his board so I'll give his a go at rehearsal. However, I suspect you are right and the Johnny Shredfreak PSU is just a piece of crap. Serves me right for being a cheapskate I suppose.
11.
JohnnyShredFreak sell a power supply that looks very simiar to the Diago, and I believe Tayste uses it to power one of his larger boards.
I have one of those which works perfectly powering an EBS Multicomp and an EBS Microbass II but when I daisy chain it to my Korg AX3000B as well it hums like a bugger. It should be capable of powering all three with current to spare but I have to power the Korg seperately with its original power supply to avoid the hum.
12. Gimme a B Gimme a U Gimme a M Gimme a P
13. Bought a Korg Pandora PX4B from Gwilym this week. Couldn't be happier with it. Gwil also went out of his way to sort things out when he couldn't find the manual. A top chap. Two thumbs up!

16.
Sorry mate, it was just me being an idiot...nothing meant by it Erm...that classic Jaco jazz honk, the sound that really pops out at you!!! For your pleasure...about 30 seconds in when she finger funks the funk out of it: Me'shell Ndegeocello Not the best example, but getting there! Ahh...just found this: Me'shell with rude tone That's what i'm getting at, that rude honky tone!!!
That second clip has been a fav of mine for some time. 17. Set of 4. Complete with ferrules and mounting screws Suitable for Fender basses but may not fit Squier due to different positioning of peg holes. [s]£20[/s] £15 inc postage They look like this: Cheers, Ray NOW TRADED.
18. Bought some tuners from a Geddy Lee jazz from Simon. Excellent item, fast delivery, bombproof packaging and a nice chap to boot! Cheers Simon!
19. I always take 2 basses. Sometimes 3. I have a nice collection of basses and see no reason why I shouldn't play them "out". I find that different basses suit different songs better - e.g my P is best for old Motown/Soul stuff and my Stingray is better for funk. If that makes my cock small, so be it.
20. PM'd re. possible trade.
21.
Well, found these for sale here - http://www.andertons.co.uk/acatalog/info_0..._medium=Froogle for 449 quid. What you all think of that price? I reckon it represents pretty good value bearing in mind what I've read about these basses from over the pond - haven't seen much in the way of negatives. Build seems to be very good indeed.
£449! Aagghhh! MUST RESIST!
