    Hi Nick, I've been considering lessons for some time now but as a self taught player (been playing on and off for 20 years) I'm a bit concerned that my bad habits will make lessons a very difficult experience for me and my tutor. Do you have any thoughts on teaching players like me? Cheers, Ray

    Travelled up to Whitley Bay to buy Dave's Cairnes Stingray. Fantastic bass (can't get over just how nice the neck is) and a top bloke to deal with. Unfortunately the trip may just have kindled my interest in a Vigier after seeing Dave's in the flesh! Cheers Dave! Oh and his other half makes a great cuppa too.

    Hi, Just a feeler at the mo' but as I'm just not playing this I'm maybe looking at a trade (with cash either way) for a nice jazz. e.g. Lakland, Sadowsky, US Fender etc. Any colour, active or passive considered. 4 strings only please. The Dolphin was bought new by me in 2005. Condition wise it has a couple of [i][b]very[/b][/i] small blemishes but nothing major. It has been waxed on a regular basis and comes complete with bombproof Warwick hard case. I've added FretFX LED side markers to aid visibility on dark stages but these can easily be removed if required. This is a wonderful playing, looking (if a bit quirky!) and sounding bass but I guess I'm just a traditionalist at heart. Will post pics or can email them if any interest.     I've got my eye on something else so it's time to move this on. It's the black label version (not the very new 2008 edition) like this one: [attachment=14014:ebsMulticomp.jpg] Condition wise it is very good although a very small amount of the labeling on the side has started to rub off. I have attached Velcro feet but these can be easily removed. No box but will be sent well packed. I'm looking for £85 posted. Paypal is OK. Thanks for looking.

    Bought this off Tayste a month or so ago but I'm only using it in one song so it's time to move it on. Probably the best sounding chorus for bass available. Sounds fantastic on guitar as well. Excellent condition apart from some gluey gunk underneath where Velcro has been applied. Comes with box, bag, manual and sticker. I'm looking for what I paid for it - £110 posted. Then you wouldn't have to worry about exceeding bandwidth limits.

    The ebay price doesn't surprise me TBH. The shop selling it are known for being on the pricey side - they wanted £80 to put a new plastic nut on my Strat!
