1. You could use one of these across all strings: http://www.warmoth.com/catalog/product_inf...oducts_id=23021

  3.
Are you driving a Fiat 500 ?
Not far off. Toyota Yaris!
  4.
It is yes. I'm going to ebay it for £200 BIN so grab it while you can folks, it's a stunning cab Collection only Chris
Just measured my car... Too small. Bah. I'll have to pass.
  5. Is the H&K available again?
  6. Looks similar to this one. String through body as well. 2000 American Standard
  7. The amp modeling is better on the Pod XT Live but I didn't really use that. I found the "bog standard" effects which I use most (chorus, delay, envelope follower etc) to be better on the Korg so I sold my Pod XT live and used the money to buy an AX3000b and a second hand EBS Multicomp - my basses have never sounded better. (I found the compression on both the Pod and Korg to be pretty mediocre to be honest). Horses for course and all that... Also, you can get a brand new AX3000b for under £130 online.
  8.
I really thought that the svt micro stack was bigger than the picture potrays? maybe Robert Trujillo is larger than the ordinary dude.....? anyways - teenie weenie!
Pity the price isn't as small.
  9. Players that I associate with the 80's that influenced me in some way: (in no particular order)- Nick Beggs Mark King Pino Palladino Mick Karn Andy Rourke Tommy Shannon Mikey Craig John Taylor Earl Falconer Doug Wimbish

  12.
I wonder if they do an 88 string bass, with an iron frame to withstand the tension. You could play it with both hands whist sitting down? Hamster
You know what? You might be on to something there.

    Question?
I really like the sound of the Marcuss Miller sig Bass but I'm not overly keen on the big black scratchplate that the controls are mounted into, so my question is......... Is the body routed out under this plate or is it just cosmetic?
It looks like this underneath: http://www.talkbass.com/wiki/index.php/Sil..._Signature_Bass A pretty big hole unfortunately.
  21.
I've just oredered one of the New American Jazzes from Thomann - White with rosewood fingerboard. Probably one of the best combinations ever, yet they don't have it in stock. No problem but Thomann will not get the bass until 30th April!!!! Thats over a month without a bass!!!!! The reason I bought from Thomann is because of thier super low prices but over a month is a long time, does anyone know of anywhere selling this bass with this colour combo for around the same price?
Here? Soundslive Cheaper as well. Oops. Beaten to it.
  22. +1 on EMG selects. Great for the money.
