  1. I like to play other instruments but always happy to pick up a bass, haven't yet found it boring. Hope you get the love back😀 Enjoy the drumming as well though.
  2. Yes, that's how I did it with my Shuttle
  3. It really is a fun one and can easily be rocked up a little.
  4. Just been rehearsing that one Chris.
  5. I love getting to play disco tunes, happy days 👍
  6. Even mrs mac commented on the tone of your T-Bird I am tempted by this.
  7. Venue: The Golden Lion. Hoddesdon. Herts. 2 p.m. start. The aim: To raise a whole load of money for the The Great Ormond Street, Children's Hospital. It's bigger and will hopefully be even better this year, with a large stage, pro sound system and DJ (Disco Stu). The first band, Pat and the Butchers, is being billed as a "Super Group", which I've somehow blagged my way in to on bass . This will be followed by three very talented, popular local bands: Homegrown and friends. The Bonnet. The Ding Dangs. There's a raffle, with some great prizes, donated by local businesses. It's free entry, food is available, the pub will be serving. I believe there is also a bbq and ice cream van. Looks like the weather is going to still be good for Sunday, so it should be a great day.
  8. Off to investigate. I'm keen to try out a LB100.
  9. I'm sure you'll get there with it. I had used Mark Bass cabs for years and it took me a fair few gigs and eq adjustments to get the best out of the SC.
  10. I use a SC with a GK Fusion 500 and usually get a sound that I'm very happy with. It has most definitely improved with use and seems to respond extremely well when driven quite hard.
  11. Nice and the amp parked on top looks very cool.
  12. Great result.👍 I have a F310, bought it new about twenty years back, the plan being to get a better acoustic a year or so later. Never did though and I still really rate it.
  13. Very happy to recommend Tomas. As soon as I had paid, the item was in the post and with me the following morning. Got to say, here's a chap who knows how to package an item for maximum protection.
  14. What an amazing looking instrument and wife
  15. Agree with Graham and Big Red, if the pocket is cut correctly then there are no problems with three bolt fixings. I have an old eighties G&L SB1 with the three bolt fixing and neck tilt, there are no stability issues at all.
  16. Which is exactly what the OP tells us in the first post.
  17. I think my first course of action would be to try an application of switch cleaner on the selector.
  18. No worries. Pleased that it turned out to be such a worthwhile upgrade.
  19. Hope it goes well and the shoulder doesn't give you too much grief.
