1. tempt us with a pic in a darkened venue with the valves giving off a nice warm glow
 2. is this list compiled by some lazy journo who has just gone on to spotify and itunes and looked up popular downloads of each artist and made a sort of randomly haphazard collection then probably added some copy that would make nathan barley blush and is it some sort of subtle irony that the webpage shows us james brown but bootsie collins does not feature in the list?? anyways it must be wrong because john taylor and rio isnt in there
 3.
I can just about remember clackers .
do you still have them? wouldnt they be just great to attach a set to the headstock of the purple relay bass

 6.
Sorry, it's still in Falkirk, and will be for the next week or so. It would have been great if you could play it at a gig with 5 hen parties though!
indeed would have made for some hilarious photos of the purple bass getting mobbed by drunken laydeees

 18. i just gave one of these away to a mates local recording studio please be aware!! if it has not been used for some time that there is an electrolytic capacitor in the voltage control side of the circuit which can lose it's polarity - if you plug a 9v battery into it there is a good chance you might fry the capacitor in the voltage regulation part of the circuit - you need to bring the voltage up very slowly and gradually over 48+ or so hours from a trickle to the full 9 volts having said that... if you do fry the capacitor - like someone i know did - they are easily replaced and the replacement can be a modern equivalent as it is not in a part of the circuit which will affect the tone
 19. im pretty sure it was the squeak from my amp being picked up by the singists mics who were all looking at me and pointing like its my fault!!! its only the second time ive gigged the pesky thing and wasnt really expecting it at all as never noticed it on my boxer65 at reasonable practice volume levels
 20. this .... is a very interesting story but the writing style is about as exciting as the instructions on a pack of prescription medication so maybe try this one instead... i liked this one too ...
