    Congrats. When my wife used to work nights, I had to look after the kids so I was in the same situation. It's great to have evenings and weekends free to rock!

    I built my own in the back garden 30 square metres. Double doors to get kit in. The drummer leaves his kit there and I have a few amps kicking around for folks to use.

    The pedal, even in a fault condition, should not trip the mains. The PSU 'should' have a diode fitted to stop reverse polarity. It should also have a re-settable fuse in case of fault condition (ie shorting). They probably used a very cheap centre +ve power supply instead of a 'proper' centre -ve PSU. It is up to you how you deal with it. Feedback being left is ok for ebay - if you are happy that the pedal was fine then they probably are just trying it on. and yes, you should have sold it on BC lol

    Personally, if I had paid £700 for a bass, it would have to play spot on! You would expect that from a cheap bass, not a mid range one. Try and get a replacement or your money back as it is not fit for purpose.

    Hi All, This is my last ditch attempt at selling this bass. It plays well and looks quite nice. Fretless passive P/J configuration. Unlined with dots on the side at fret position. If it does not sell at £75 then I am going to make a table out of it Seems a shame but there you go. I am in Aylesbury Bucks HP19 area. Collection only I am afraid, sorry.     I did it the other way around. I used to have 12 guitars and several guitar amps. Have kept my accoustic and one electric but the rest have gone. Same with the amps. I have not bought so many basses as it was a wrench to sell the guitars!

    Covers are just that, playing an existing song. If it's in a different key or with a change of bass/guitar riff, it's still a cover. The Rolling Stones started as a covers band and slowly made the change. ..... gets coat and moves to door

    Watch the film 'The Rocker' (edit: I know he was a drummer but the principle is the same lol) You can get your revenge in 20 years time by being in a more successful band! Good luck and keep those low notes pounding.
