  1. Roland Bass Cube. Sounds superb and can be picked up used for about the cost of a pedal Still got mine despite having super light modern gear.
  2. Buy a body blank and get a luthier to finish the job of routing the body.
  3. Cracking idea. I'll stick a barrel connector on the end and see what happens.
  4. @Tech21NYC Thank you. If it only draws 60mA then when the warranty has run out I may well see if there's enough room in the casing to add a battery clip. I'm not thinking about long term use - just for those shorter jams and the educational settings I often play in. Can't wait to get mine. Every demo is making me more excited!
  5. Leave. I made that decision as soon as I reached the "Drummer doesn't drive" bit, let alone the rest. I don't care if it's Dennis Chambers - he transports his own frakking kit.
  6. I do wish it had a battery option. As an analogue pedal it won't eat them quickly, and it would be a far easier set up in places where I am lucky if I don't have to argue over a single socket! I do have one of the Warwick Rockboard rechargeable batter pack things, but that is still another thing to carry. @Tech21NYC What is the current draw for the pedal please?
  7. The 400 and the Diesel rig would be perfect for me... if I had my own rehearsal space and it never ever had to move it. I have reached the stage where if I can't do only 1 trip from the car then I don't take it with me.
  8. There’s about 6 or 7 albums where I can play every song on it, and regularly do for fun, with the CD. then there’s my current set list of another 25 or so, then all the tunes I’ve written, probably another 25. then there’s the old covers band set list that I probably remember about half of. So call that another 20. And then some random stuff 100 to 150 maybe?
  9. Yup. i listen to well rehearsed professionally produced music and I play the polar opposite.
  10. TC Helicon MP-75 for me. Tried a few and really liked it.
  11. Thank you. Sounds good. Need to check what my P pickup needs (doing a PJ mod)
  12. derrière. Andertons eta changed to 11th May on their site.
  13. Ye gods. I'd take a pair of Barefaced One10 and still have change for a good night out.
  14. There's a Tecamp version in the classifieds at the mo. I don't think the technology changed when Thomas Eich split from Tecamp or rebranded or whatever the smeg happened.
  15. Orange does seem to be surprisingly crap at doing online demos.
  16. Andertons website says they expect a delivery on 30th April (Monday) I suppose after that it depends on how fast places actually start shipping them onwards. With Andertons' buying power it would not surprise me if they've got first dibs. They've got it cheap too https://www.andertons.co.uk/tech-21-dug-pinnick-dp-3x-signature-pedal-pre-amp-for-bass-dp3x
  17. Don't see why not. I'm reminded of a Michael Manring quote that I can only half remember - There are limits to how many orders 12 notes can be put into... there are no such limits on rhythm.
  18. That would be nice. Although the last few deliveries from Andertons have been several weeks late - for brand new products anyway. It's almost my birthday and I've actually managed to get the family to fund this! First bass related prezzie from them for decades!
  19. I can't wait to get mine! @Tech21NYC any idea when they will land in the UK?
  20. My ray doesn't have a problem. Mind you, my ray doesn't have the MM pickup in it either!
  21. It started just after the thing that cannot be named!
