    They moved from Wapping to London Bridge where they mainly did it all online. I went there once after they moved, and they told me that guys would come in the shop, try out a bass and get it cheaper online.

    I would say discipline. Cliff Williams fom AC/DC is known for his simple 8th note power basslines. Many people (Myself included) tend to get bored and start embellishing and overplaying when they dont need to. It takes discipline to play whats needed without over doing it.

    The Beatles Sgt Pepper had some great bass mixed quite high and to the fore. Although its not technically ' New Music' 😋

    I like his playing on One Small Day. Not a complex line but great tone and feel.

    I recently decided to experiment with a heavy gauge string, and am currently using Roto rb50's. Quite a nice string actually. 😋

    I have a 2008 MIA P bass. It is a well made quality instrument, but it did have a kick in the neck. Once my guitar tech sorted it out out it was great. I dont know what the newer ones are like with QC but that was my only gripe.
