    This is the new 2018 mix of While My Guitar Gently weeps. I must say, Eric Claptons lead guitar overdub sounds much more clearer. While for the first time in many years, Maccas double stops on the bass (6string?) finally are audible. Opinions from Beatles fans?

    They moved from Wapping to London Bridge where they mainly did it all online. I went there once after they moved, and they told me that guys would come in the shop, try out a bass and get it cheaper online.

    I would say discipline. Cliff Williams fom AC/DC is known for his simple 8th note power basslines. Many people (Myself included) tend to get bored and start embellishing and overplaying when they dont need to. It takes discipline to play whats needed without over doing it.

    Well, one day this rather odd chap hopped into the office. He'd been to see virtually everyone in the business and been shown the door. He asked to see MY door, but I wouldn't show it to him

    The Beatles Sgt Pepper had some great bass mixed quite high and to the fore. Although its not technically ' New Music' 😋

    I like his playing on One Small Day. Not a complex line but great tone and feel.
