That is frustrating, but I think it's something you just have to deal with at the time and then have words later.
I know for fact that you'll still be the coolest cat on stage, revel in your dudeshippery and rise above
The British Library has a single copy, shelfmark YM.1989.b.454. If I remember my shelfmarks correctly it should be available via Inter-Library Loan from Boston Spa.
May I present 'Monkey Bisodol' by me and my mate John, a spirited examination of the dangers of off-species pharmaceutical use.
Rough and ready, much like the artistes involved.
Enjoy
Lovely.
I tell you what I'd do - I'd get a triple-ply BWB scratchplate.
I know, it's not all back anymore, but I replaced the all-black scratchplate on my Onyx Sterling and it looks more black with the accent.
Fitted the Denegerates yesterday evening and Wow ! The bass has character now, as opposed to the rather mid-heavy bland sound of the EMG-HZs.
Definitely more of a single-coil feel, which is what I was after, so Mike was spot on with the recommendation.
Well chuffed
When we first met, keen to impress each other in the first flush of love, Mrs. Pook and I agreed we both liked REM.
We don't - nether of us does, never have.
Sweet tho, isn't it ? We were probably hammered, but still...
Feeling rather uninspired by the EMG-HZs in my recently-acquired Spector I decided to have a word with Mike at Gemini Pickups to see if he had anything that might suit.
I've bought pickups a few times from him - a rather nice Jazz set and a pair of guitar mini-humbuckers that I put in a guitar for a friend - always helpful and amazing pickups.
So, here they are, took about two weeks from ordering to them arriving. I'm really looking forward to fitting them this afternoon.

Last year, never really having listened to any Rush before, I decided to explore their back catalogue and spent quite a while listening to all their albums, and there's only two albums I go back and listen to again - Moving Pictures and Permanent Waves.
Shame about the hiccups, but as has been said above - you played a blinder of a set at the end. Good going !
It's not the problems, it's how you deal with them (with apologies for sounding like a chapter in a self-help book )
Yes, I run Ad-Block*...I did try whitelisting/unblocking BC and Soundcloud, but I guess my TinFoilHat is thicker than I thought I have a version of Waterfox I that's running 'open', so to speak....I'll give it a go over there. It does make me feel a bit...grimy tho.
