1. it's small, it's black and i just makes it louder ! if you're looking for a nice clean boost to match the volumes of different basses or (my favourite) want to drive the input of your amp a bit harder, this is prolly for you. to my ears it's a lot more transparent than an mxr micro amp. condition wise - it's been gigged, so has the odd scratch and blemish on it and has some velcro on the bottom which should be easy to remove if you're not into the sticky stuff. let's say £45 delivered ? paypal only please, or cash for a meet-up in central london edit: the box and instructions went awol ages ago...but do you need instructions ?
2.
One thing you should try if you haven't already is to try and tighten it further...... sounds mad but works... should help losen it up
that's how i managed to free the other three !!
i used to use a fine chisel and tap it round the edge in the appropriate direction...anti clockwise the closer you get to the edge the more torque you get what you are doing is jarring it out with little licks.. instead of a fine chisel a screwdriver head might do and go easy...mark
thanks crow-san, i'll give that a whirl
3. right - here's the score. played the wettest gig i ever a few weeks ago in wales, and all my equipment survived, except for my boss bass chorus - it no longer works properly when powered by a wall wart (sound is distorted and very quiet). now, i'd like to get the back off to check it's not something easy to fix, but one of the screws on the bassplate is frozen in - i've tried WD40, heating the head of the screw up with a soldering iron, but still no luck...and the screw's getting pretty stripped now. any good ideas before i give up and drill the offending screw out ?
4. he invented the jazz bass i'm eternally in his debt.
5. sold to gazwb pending the usual. edit: usual received with thanks.
6. anyone tried one of these out yet ? i'm looking at the vid on the ehx site and it sounds like it would be spot on for the techno/breakbeat band i do now and again. greasier and nastier than my ebs iq.
7. it's small, it's blue and it's very fuzzy ! bedroom use only - apart from a wee bit of dust it's in as-new condition, with original box and instructions. £75 delivered to your door. paypal or meet-up in central london.
...but I'd be a bit worried that it'd look like you're playing one of those toy guitars once you've got it strapped on.
a bit worried ? why ? you'd look like a GIANT !
10. that's amazing ! hard to believe it's real, although i'm quite prepared to believe the camera buffs
11. not last night, but i played at the celtic blue rock festival near carmarthen on friday night. totally amazing crowd despite perishing '60mph mist' rain, got loads of people bopping and made it to the end of the set without anyone getting elctrocuted or slipping over on the puddles that slowly grew during our set. i've never worn so many clothes on stage before (see my new avatar) the band after us played and then they shut the stage cos it was too dangerous...my pedalboard's still drying out at home !!!
12. the LPB has far from a flat frequency response. to my ears the best, clean boost i've found is the CAE line booster. no cheap tho.
13. my mum had tea with the kinks.
14. i played a friend's jedson just like that. sounded and felt fine to me.
15.
I have experience of this...... if you can.... buy a cheap Ipod... you can a refurbished one for about £25 from the Apple store... that way you don't have to worry about your laptop getting trashed. You won't really gain much over having a usb interface and may introduce Latency.
plus the one.
16.
Can it be a pedal? If so, EBS Microbass II pushes all the buttons!
plus the one

18.
I'll copy/paste the e-mail here, don't care if they see it haha:
don't know why they didn't start it 'dear john' and include 'it's not you, it's me' (or did they ?) that email says nowt...i think they owe it to you to be honest. email them back, tell them you respect their decision, but not to spare your blushes. you're all grown-ups ffs !
19. no explanation at all ? sounds a bit odd...were you all getting on ok ?

21.
Very nice pedal - I just modified one. If you like saturated sound in a small format you can't go wrong with this. (Free bump )
agreed - massive tone from a so-small-it's-cute pedal.
22. bought a while back from burno - lovely unit, but i've just got too many pedals now i'm not in a regularly gigging band. ok physical nick (the logo has scratched off slightly) but works as new. how about [s]£75[/s] £70 to your door ? paypal preferred
