    i've got a santa ana (i.e. no-name) acoustic bass that i'd love to give to a college (and help out a bass chatter with !), but i'm in tottenham, north london. i can probrably dig our some other bits and pieces too. anyway we can hook up somehow ?

    i've heard of them, but only from ebay. i was interested in the wave machine, but i too thought it a bit too nasal/bassless for my ear. they [i]did[/i] introduce me to soundcloud tho, which is very cool.

    doing the maths on my smarties calculator... my average bass has 4.28 strings ! and that .28 gives me the edge...

    it's a shame you're off using some kind of blender - i think of all the ways to keep definition with fuzz, they're the answer.

    line 6 floor pod plus ? pretty much bang on £150 from dolphin, dv247 etc i've used the line 6 xt on guitar and it's much more than you'd need and sounds good.

    kevin shields was at a gig i played a year or two back - the whole place was 'look...it's kev shields'...but i just about managed to keep my cool... until i saw him nodding his head to one of our noise breakdowns...then i lost if for a bit. i wouldn't have dared to speak to him.
