went into PMT Leeds today hoping they'd have an Epi' EB0 just so i could try the short scale for myself before ordering a Gibson.
unfortunately they didn't have one in but they did have a Korean made Epi EB3 which i had a go on & "wow" it's a beaut',it looks nice, plays nice & sounds nice so i just had to buy it.
hey - congrats ! although you're doing nowt for my gas...
i'm fancying a black eb3...
how's the neck-dive ?
better or worse than a t-bird ?
the bodies of pots are usually lacquered iirc, so the first thing you should do is to cut through that to get to the bare metal - a small file or piece of emery paper should do the trick
shrinking the size? more like doing away with and replacing with a warwick logo
in fairness i would like one of the new rockbasses, whenever they decide to release them this decade
i'm very tempted by one of the new rb fortresses....but as you say when they come out.
i know a couple of people here have used them, and i've been checking around to see opinions on the web (bassfuzz.com, for example)...
any other opinions floating round in the ether ?
nothing improves your playing like being in a band.
get out there and go for it !
plus the one on buying a larger amp - you'll be needing it when you start gigging
I don't want to make it in the industry and gave up 10yrs ago but I feel I am making it with music. It's a much happier place to be!
plus the one.
Nope, the aesthetics are lost on me, that looks U.G.L.Y. Sorry!
plus the one, but then i've yet to see an alembic bass design i do like.
well i am here in the living room with the lights off so i will join you in the dark
brilliant sunset tonight
/jealous burp/
sadly the small skies in london meant that i didn't see it.
BUT...the inspirational power of guinness !
guess who forgot about the old 'boss power supply magic'...the chorus won't work with a standard wall wart unless it's grounded through another pedal via the input cable shield.
so...there's nowt wrong with it - it's just a sad case of operator error.
at least i cleared the frozen screw and got a replacement to slide in
cheers !
sorry mark
hope that you get it dried out...slowly and in a dry place...airing cupboard or a greenhouse/shed
cheers
geof
well, it looks dry as a proverbial now (it's been outside in the shade all day)...just about to grab a multimeter, a screwdriver and a guinness and see if anything looks abviously wrong.
/sluurp/
I will be ordering one next week when I get paid - I'll post my thoughts up here after I've had a chance to get to grips with it. I think I might need to get an expression pedal to go with it as well - that function looks pretty kick ass!!
nicely nicely
