1. the bridge on the bass looks a lot more G&L than musicman to me.
 2. changing the shape of the neck and shrinking the size of the rockbass logo on the RB basses... whatever next ?
 3. sounds good doesn't it ? now...i've got some money in my paypal account too. hmm....
 4. i know a couple of people here have used them, and i've been checking around to see opinions on the web (bassfuzz.com, for example)... any other opinions floating round in the ether ?
 5. nothing improves your playing like being in a band. get out there and go for it ! plus the one on buying a larger amp - you'll be needing it when you start gigging
 6.
I don't want to make it in the industry and gave up 10yrs ago but I feel I am making it with music. It's a much happier place to be!
plus the one.
 7.
Nope, the aesthetics are lost on me, that looks U.G.L.Y. Sorry!
plus the one, but then i've yet to see an alembic bass design i do like.
 8. the further you rotate the sensitivity control clockwise, the higher the compression ratio (i don't own one - this is what the manual says) hth
 9.
well i am here in the living room with the lights off so i will join you in the dark brilliant sunset tonight /jealous burp/
sadly the small skies in london meant that i didn't see it. BUT...the inspirational power of guinness ! guess who forgot about the old 'boss power supply magic'...the chorus won't work with a standard wall wart unless it's grounded through another pedal via the input cable shield. so...there's nowt wrong with it - it's just a sad case of operator error. at least i cleared the frozen screw and got a replacement to slide in cheers !
 10.
sorry mark hope that you get it dried out...slowly and in a dry place...airing cupboard or a greenhouse/shed cheers geof
well, it looks dry as a proverbial now (it's been outside in the shade all day)...just about to grab a multimeter, a screwdriver and a guinness and see if anything looks abviously wrong. /sluurp/
 11.
I will be ordering one next week when I get paid - I'll post my thoughts up here after I've had a chance to get to grips with it. I think I might need to get an expression pedal to go with it as well - that function looks pretty kick ass!!
nicely nicely
 12. not far from some of the excuses you see for spelling on this forum to be honest
 13.
Its been a while since I used it, but I think it resembles a patch that was on my old Zoom multi fx. Alien something or other. It has been a while since I used it because I broke it, but I think it was similar to that. It sounds a lot like some sort of bit crusher effect as well. Experiment a bit I say. Zach
plus the one sounds like a zoom step wah to me - it was on most of their rack units and some of their multi-fx pedals iirc.
 14. that's a very low price. very low...
 15. well, i've given up and drilled the head of the screw out. sadly i can't see anything obviously wrong with the pcb - no scorches or obvious mess. gonna leave it open in the vain hope that it dries out during the day, and then have a proper look tonight after some work on the bathroom. hope i can resurrect it...
 16.
These pedals look awesome - I think I'm going to get one even though it will mean getting a bigger pedal board (I have no room left on mine).
know how you feel ! do let us know how you get on with the enigma if you do get one.
 17.
She told me that she'd played on the RHCP albums.
that even got girlfren laughing !
 18.
That's put a whole new slant on things. He's certainly no John Entwistle
how many dancing typists do you know ?
 19. bust them ker-ayzee moves daddy-o.
 20. i'm in max...email coming.
 21.
Well it's obviously not BAD but it looks bad! Could look better! It's a lottery really :-p
true...but warwick make a big thing about the wood they use in construction. i'd hope that would extend to the cosmetic as well as sonic considerations. spesh as i'm thinking of a custom fortress as a treat for my 40th !!
 22.
After posting at Warwick, it seems it really may be tiger stripe ebony!!!! And check this out: the bass I got is the on they photographed for the website: http://www.thomann.de/gb/warwick_corvette_standard_fl_02.htm Other Warwicks with the same wood fingerboard don't show any such stains in their pictures though!
very true...my rockbass fortress has a tigerstripe fretboard and it's way prettier than the one on fenderhead's full-blown warwick !
 23.
I often shove an empty pack of 'Nicotinel' in there at gigs - gets a knowing laugh from some and bemusement from many!!
24.
I've arranged for exchange, they didn't cause any problems, yet at least, waiting for courier pickup details...
well, that's good news, but you'd think they'd have looked at the wood and realised that it wasn't the prettiest bit of lumber they could have used.
