  7. i spoke to mark at bass direct before i bought an ebs multicomp and he said he couldn't tell the difference between the true bypass and older style. i bought one of the older, non-true bypass ones and i've tried it with an fx loop pedal. he was right

  13. the gain control looks like it's set to zero (but i don't know the amp, so excuse me if that's wrong)
  14. i run my ampeg svp-pro into a soundtech ps802. the soundtech is 1U and weighs next to nowt and is 800W bridged. it's pretty much tone heaven for me.

  18. just to say the FNR is prolly the best comp i ever had - i only got rid of mine cos i wasn't using outboard any more. great for bass, superb for recording and mixing. good luck with the sale !!

  20. fast forward to today... and it's arrived...a beautiful rockbass fortress in black stain and now...i have to go to bloody work !!!!!
  21. i used the head version of this amp regularly in a rehearsal studio and it sounded great - lots of tweakage available. good luck !
