not last night, but i played at the celtic blue rock festival near carmarthen on friday night. totally amazing crowd despite perishing '60mph mist' rain, got loads of people bopping and made it to the end of the set without anyone getting elctrocuted or slipping over on the puddles that slowly grew during our set. i've never worn so many clothes on stage before (see my new avatar) the band after us played and then they shut the stage cos it was too dangerous...my pedalboard's still drying out at home !!!

the LPB has far from a flat frequency response. to my ears the best, clean boost i've found is the [url="http://www.jimdunlop.com/index.php?page=products/pip&id=265"]CAE line booster[/url]. no cheap tho.

my mum had tea with the kinks.

i played a friend's jedson just like that. sounded and felt fine to me.

have we forgotten this one ? genius song, genius bass/piano line which really carries the song - an excellent example of ostinato as wulf mentioned.
