2. Maplin do an adapter, if you dont want to wire in a speakon,
3. Hi, my sons youth project have been donated a pair of HZ He-200 speakers, and it would appear that I've been volunteered to provide an amp and mixer to power them. Trouble is I know next to sod all about PA stuff, having successfully avoided anything to do with it all these years, so I'm after some advice from the Knowledgeable Ones on here. I haven't really got a clue as to what rating of power amp they would need to power these without damaging the speakers with distortion or clipping or whatever. They have backline sorted, so they will only be used for vocals (3 mics at the most) and their rehearsal room is like a small village hall sized place. Any advice or recommendations greatly appreciated Cheers Andy
4. I have a barely used Hartke LH500 in a rackbag If you're interested, shoot me a pm and we could discus cash adjustment etc Cheers Andy
5. Just done a trade with Hamster, a very pleasant and easy transaction. Had a nice cuppa and a good chat about bass stuff! Cheers
6.
Externally, the scratch plate is different and the pick up in a slightly different place, but I can't recall what else, or which is which. When I had mine about 7 years ago the head stock said Status Shark II, which is the only reason I know a 'II' model exists... If you look at the version on the bay, the scratch plate does not have the 'horn' with the dials mounted on it and th pick up is further back... Yours is prettier the way it is though without a doubt!
Thanks for the info Played this at rehearsal last night, I must be bonkers selling this I'm on the verge of committing myself to the purchase of another instrument, though, so will probably put this on ebay in the new year in the hope that someone has a bit of Christmas lolly to spend!
7. I expect Simon Law would be able to do it, if you can pin him down. 07786 563214

9. Such a shame the string spacing is only 16mm, otherwise I'd be splashing out some of my xmas bonus on this!
10. I see thrre's a video of Rhythm stick from the Live in Colchester DVD available on you tube now, good for an insight on Norms technique. Dylan Howe is a great drummer too!
11.
One of them is a shark and one is shark II if I'm not mistaken... Which is yours?
I dont really know, and not sure I know what the difference is. Perhaps someone could enlighten me?

16. Still up for grabs - Sunday night bump
17. These are criminally underrated, you wont get better build quality and playability anywhere else at that price. I just happen to have a five string up for grabs at the moment Here
18.
You don't have the original pick up cover do you... I love the big Chrome brick...
'fraid not, I did a deal with a guy who wanted to add another chrome pickup to his shark, (you can only get the black ones now.) I bet that turned out to be an awesome bass!
19. You're a man of impeccable taste, sir, like I said, I'll probably regret it
20. Got a big cardboard box, now and some bubble wrap, so will be able to ship to UK mainland for £20.00

22. You know how sometimes you fancy a change? (Then regret it later!) Well this fine bass has been my back up for about 3 years now, and although its generally the one I pick up to practice on, I wouldn't mind looking at something different hanging on the wall for a change. What can I tell you? Its a five string Status Shark thats been fitted with a Seymour Duncan STC-3M3 active preamp. (See below for SD blurb). The bass itself is in excellent condition, with just a few light scratches on the back, necks nice and straight with a low action, every thing works as it should, and it plays really nicely with a typical Status neck profile. The build quality is to the usual Status high standards. Its had a new Status pickup fitted recently, and with the pre-amp, is surprisingly versatile. Its got straplocks on and it comes with a Status gigbag. I am looking for £300 for this, plus £20 shipping or collect from Swindon. I might be interested in trade for an interesting 5 string, but I've got my eye on something in the for sale section so cash would be better! SD blurb.. Seymour Duncan STC-3M3 for Ernie Ball/Music Man® bass guitars with 3 control knobs. For years the Basslines Custom Shop® has been installing preamps in Music Man® basses. Over time the design was perfected and is now available to everyone. The lows are deep, clear, and tight. The mids range from ultra smooth to punchy and all points in between. The treble control can produce a very wide and useable response that is brilliant but not brittle. Pulling up on the volume knob engages the Slap Switch®, a special EQ contour made for slap playing. All of this is available in a quiet on board package.
23. I loved the tone of my euro 5, but found it a tad neck heavy and a real stretch to the low frets. Anyone else find this?
24. Great for recording gigs, rehearsals etc, there is plenty of information and reviews on the 'net if you haven't heard of these marvellous gadgets. This one has had very little use, and comes boxed with instructions, power supply, mic stand adapter, tripod and USB and audio leads £90 posted
25. I've got a pair of 15" PA cabs For Sale at the moment, its not something I've thought of before, but I might hook 'em up to my LM2 for the next rehearsal and see what they sound like.
