    Just been rummaging through the string drawer, and realised that I have a few sets that I'm never gonna use so I might as well see if anyone can make use of them here. The thing is, I am not sure what they are, and the string identifier thread on here is of no use to me because I am colourblind! I know there is an unused dominant, (well thats what it says on the packet!) but I'll put some pics up for others to identify. They were included in a deal with an EUB I bought about a year ago which was 3/4 size so I'm assuming these would be the same.     Looking for a brighter sound on my fretless, which is currently strung with Status nylons. Anyone tried Elixers on a fretless? Are they less likely to mark the board compared to normal rounds? Thanks in advance Andy

    Heard a couple of cracking tunes from the soon to be released Wilko and Roger Daltrey album on the radio this morning.Very reminiscent of the early feelgoods. Definitely on my shopping list! Anyone know if Norm is playing on the album?

    My TH500 is up for sale for the sole reason that I am mainly gigging double bass these days and couldn't really get my sound with it. If I had more bass guitar gigs I would be using the TH500 all the time 'cos it sounds fantastic in that context. I wish I could afford to keep it hanging around in case the situation changes. I am now using an ATS 500 which is completely transparent soundwise, and I would probably add a TH pedal if guitar gigs picked up.
