6. I'm not sure of the actual age, but its in excellent condition. I'm not the original owner but he certainly looked after it. The pics below might help

9. You are spot on of course But motorbike gas is as bad as Bass Gas
Mate, please keep this! You can always find a decent motorbike! Schroeder cabs are rare! This is the best one-cab solution you will find on this rock. I had one once and very stupidly sold it. I dabbled with other well-known brands, but there's nothing like a Schroeder cab and I wasn't happy until I had bought another (a 21012L as it happens, but hey). This is a total bargain for what you will get! 800W RMS @ 4ohms, 200W adjustable titanium tweeter, 40Hz -18kHz, 19kg. One-hand lift, fits in a small car and you will be heard on any stage. Killer cab.
10. Very Good condition with cover. 4ohm Loud, light and luvverly! Motorbike mid life crisis forces sale!! Pics to follow if I ever finish work in daylight!! Collection from Swindon.
11. Right! I have just been offered my dream motorbike and I need to raise funds. As I am playing mainly upright or fretless these days, unfortunately my exquisite P Bass is in the firing line. It's in natural with a black scratchplate and unmarked. Currently strung with Status half rounds. No trades I'm afraid unless you have a Moto Guzzi Griso!! ;-)
12. Did a rehearsal using this with my fretless AGC last night and it really makes it sing!! The new model is around £900 so this has to be the bargain of year!! Any trial welcome if you're anywhere near Swindon
13. See my ATS LBA 500 for sale ad
14. Reluctantly up for sale is my ATS LBA500 amplifier head. This is a great 2 channel lightweight head with great tonal options and is ideal if you want to double up on double bass and electric, or fretless and fretted for example. Channel one features a semi-parametric eq section, which is ideal for your bass guitar, and the second channel is completely transparent with no tonal colouring, similar to high end hifi systems. I have been using this channel to amplify my double bass, and you really do get "my bass only louder" with this. Of course you can plug in via your preamp if your pickup requires it. You can also plug your iPod into this channel and us it as a practice tool, playing along with your bass plugged into the other channel, as both channels can be used simultaneously, which is not always the case with 2 channel amps. This is a warm sounding amp, with a wide range of tones available, a small adjustment goes a long way with the eq controls on this. Weighs 1.9kg - about the same as two bags of sugar! Its got tall feet, which means it'll sit over the top of the handle of cabs like Barefaced or similar 500w @ 4ohms, 250w @ 8ohms. Comes with a neat little carry case which would cost you £70 to buy as an accessory. So if you're wondering what to spend your Christmas bonus on, here is a great sounding multi-use amp head for £399 plus insured postage of a tenner. Not looking for trades at this time, sorry Specs Here Website blurb.. The LBA-5 is an amplifier designed to obtain very high audio performances in a small space and weight. As a matter of fact it provides 500 watts of power (RMS on 4 ohm) and it weighs only 1.9 Kg. The preamp stage is realized with MOSFET discrete components, but it has the warm and mellow sound typical of the tubes preamp (in particular of the triodes). Furthermore it is equipped with a semi-parametric control on the mid band, with an asymmetric control on the high band and the original Contour control. Concerning the tone control, it uses also the technique of the frequency shift. Using this technique when the tone control works in exaltation it uses a different frequency (for example, on the high band, 6 kHz) than that one used in attenuation (on the high band 4 kHz). In this way the tone control is more effective in finding all the harmonic shades in the sound of the instrument. Another important innovation in this head is the “contour control”, very different from the other similar systems available in the market. As a matter of fact it works with the central zero because in this way, when it works in exaltation (Max +15dB), it brings out the low and high bands, attenuating the middle frequencies. While in attenuation it works exactly in the opposite way. Furthermore the LBA-5 it is supplied with a special input (INPUT 2 AUX), totally flat. Using this input it is possible to amplify a second instrument or another sound source like a a CD player, a PC, or a Mixer, etc. (useful, for example, for the players that need to play with a backing track) The sound of the LBA-5 is warm and full-bodied, very different from the typical one of the class D amplifiers, usually “cold” and too much “dry”. This LBA-5 can be considered a valid alternative to those amplifiers with only a single tube in the input stage. file:///page1image17664
15. Here's mine...
16.
Whoa. They look tiny against that double bass
Wait 'til you pick one up!!
17. I've been gigging a pair of S112s for a couple of months now, and I have to say I am extremely happy with them. They provide all the low end "thump" I need for my double bass requirements and for the occasions I used them with electric bass, have given me that great old school vibe that I've been looking for. I chose not to have tweeters and don't feel I'm missing out on anything at all sonically. Interestingly most of the comments I have received have been from guitarists, all positive and aimed at how good they look as well as how good they sound! I went for the tweed finish and cloth grill Can't seem to add photos from my phone - will try later! Edit -
18. Wouldn't mind trying a set on my fretless 5 string but I notice the "B" is a 136 gauge, I don't fancy taking a file to the nut only to find a woolly B string. Has anyone tried a set on a 35" five string bass?
