1. Its good practice to pack away the mics and drumsticks as soon as the last note stops ringing, 'cos everyone is a singer or drummer after a few shandies! If I have my decent bass, that goes straight into the gig bag too..
 2. Just completed the sale of my Dingwall to Simon, and I have to say it was a real pleasure and all went without a hitch. Don't let the fact that he lives in Slovenia put you off - it took less than a week from the Bank transfer to delivery. Simon is a thoroughly nice guy and is as good as his word. I would happily enter into a transaction with him again in the future. Deal with confidence!
 3.
Final specs sorted, order form revised and submitted, go-ahead received, deposit paid... YAY! It's happening!!! Now... to forget all about it until *that email* with the sofa picture arrives
Did you use "Transfer wise" to pay? Is it easy to use? I'm a couple hours behind you....😉
 4.
hey! stay away, don't distract him from MY order!!!
5.
roughly 12 to 15 weeks BUUUUUT that's worse case scenario ... you could possibly get it in 7 ...

Mines currently at about 13 weeks, but I'm aware that this is unusual for Adrian. Wood In Black got his at 7 but was quoted 12. So that can happen.
Something to look forward to over the winter....... Email sent this morning, awaiting response.....
 6. Any idea what the current waiting time is?

 8.
don't worry about your B. They're really integrated to the rest of the bass.
Thanks! I am on the web site right now!! High probability of an expenditure in the very near future!!
 9.
Shipping is included. Both my B strings are as they should be, in that they feel and sound just like the other 4 strings. That's running a 120 on the Elwood L5 and a 125 on the Jake. I came to these from a 35 inch scale Lakland, which was the first B string I was really happy with, and they're both at least as good.

All the instruments that I've owned. The best B strings have been on a Stingray 5 and a Lakland. I'm not sure why as we all talk about scale lengths and those 2 have different ones. I think it comes down to construction/pickups and strings. A tought B string I think comes down to many factors. My Maruszczyk has just as good a B string as both of those instruments.
Thanks, that is reassuring.....
 10. So you guys with the 5 string instruments - hows your B? I've had hit or miss affairs with B strings on Fender type basses and the inability to try before buying worries me..... Also, am I correct in thinking the prices of the stock instruments on the website include shipping to UK?
 11. More pics as requested
 12. I find an unlined board easier to play and you have the added bonus of not having the guitarist pick up your bass in rehearsal, twiddling about at the dusty end and pronouncing "it's bloody easy this bass playing lark!" 😉
 13. I like Bob, I will try and get down if I get the"Dad's Taxi" duties done in time. What time is kick off? Who's on sticks?
 14. Possible delivery or meet halfway option, depending on distance....

 17.
Andy, I'm guessing you told your wife if you get the motorbike you will reduce the bass collection Gas is great ain't it.
This ⬆︎ But I didn't count on the weather getting colder!! Thanks for the pics David, would you be open to trade options?
 18. David, does this have position markers on the top edge of the neck? If so, are they on the pitch or as per a fretted neck? Is this strung E-C still?
 19. Call me old fashioned but if you're all getting an equal split of the fee it's just plain decency to all muck in surely... With regard to drummers that bash it out at full whack all the time,I see it as a missed opportunity to add dynamics to your sound.
 20. Bass Direct sell BSX Basses and have a pre-owned Clevinger in stock according to their web site........
