2. Its 88cm at its highest point, overall width is 54cm and depth is 9cm. Hope that makes sense - its a pretty irregular shape!
3. How about an Ibanez AGB 140 or AGB 200 if you want a short scale? I will be putting an AGB 140 in the for sale section soon if that is of interest .

7. Recent trade deal with Chris was an easy and pleasant experience, he was extremely efficient and honest and the deal was hassle free and quick. I'd thoroughly recommend him as a trading partner, one of the good guys!
8. Just completed a trade deal with Brian and couldn't be happier! He kept me informed throughout the process and was true to his word! Bass was packed well and shipped promptly. I would not hesitate to deal with him again and highly recommend him. Top guy!!
9. Am I correct in thinking you can get a gadget that enables you to plug into your i-phone? Are they any good?
10. I'll take the best set Please pm payment details...... Cheers Andy
11. How do you fancy the short scale model of this bass?

13. I'm off to Maidstone on Saturday morning to hopefully do a trade deal, I was thinking of popping in on my way back to Swindon - It'd be rude not to!. If I can fit it in, I'll bring my EAD Foundation 212 and Markbass TT500
14. I'm pretty sure you must be aware of Alans work at Bassix, he is now developing a foldable double bass that doesn't require removal of the strings for transit. I have one of his voila models, which has a fairly decent acoustic volume, but even folded, its quite a large case!
15. Thanks guys, must've slipped under my radar! Will read through when I get a minute
16. Anyone had any experience of buying items from the states using the above system? As I understand it you pay the import charges up front and there are no surprise charges. However I'm a bit cynical about this especially as it seems like you have to "Buy it now " before you actually find out what the charges are . Or am I missing something? Any thoughts?
17. It could be that your guitarist has a typical "bedroom"tone cranked up, which is likely to drown out some of the frequencies your hearing on stage. Might be worth paying some attention to that before spending your hard earned........... Just a thought
18. Recent transaction with Chris went smoothly with no hiccups! Nice guy, and as good as his word. I'd have no hesitation in entering into a deal with him in the future

20. If you can hold on 'til Sept 21st, you should get yourself over to the South East Bass Bash 2113 Graeme aka japan-axe on here is going from Swindon and has offered a spare seat , and if you look at the thread, you can see a list of all the gear that will be gathered in the one place - ain't no shop with that amount of stock, and pretty much everyone will let you try theirs. I doubt if there is a better opportunity to see/hear/try gear I'll be going if I am not gigging
21. Anyone tried Status Hotwires Black Nylon Strings? Very reasonably priced at £17
