    This great amp is surplus to my requirements, so its gonna fall victim to my ruthless space saving regime! You can have it for a hundred quid plus postage, which will be £15, due to it needing a big box and weighing in at 11.7kg (26 lbs). It works perfectly, although the fans are a bit noisy for studio recording applications, but its perfect for driving a PA or monitors or you can put a pre-amp in front of it and play bass!     Joe's a great guy to deal with, Just traded some bass parts for a set of double bass strings and the whole process only took two days from start to finish! Strings were sent by the first post and were exactly as described. I was kept informed throughout I wouldn't hesitate to deal with Joe again, the whole deal couldn't have been easier!

    I have a [url="http://www.crownaudio.com/xls-series.html"]Crown XLS402 Power Amp[/url] which is surplus to requirements plus a load of speaker leads which I'll let go dead cheap if you want to nip down the M4 and collect. Would make the basis for a good PA. Useful to power a bass pre-amp too!

    It might seem obvious but wash your hands before you play, especially if you have been having a beer or soft drink beforehand. Some pubs have a tendency to stop pouring only when the glass overflows and of course it get on your hands. Unless you're in Swindon where most of the pubs I play in serve short measures!

    I've only gone and lost the E string from my Rockabilly set, either the missus has had a tidy up or more likely I think it may have been left in the pocket of an old gig bag that had I had to bin a little while ago . I fancied putting them back on today and can't find the bloody thing anywhere. Long shot I know, but does anybody have a spare to sell, or know where I could buy one singularly? Its one of the black ones so would look a bit odd if I left the existing E on, even if it sounded ok Thanks in anticipation Andy

    I've gigged it using it straight into a Genz Benz shuttle 6 with perfect results, I cant see the Markbass being any less capable......
