  1. i cant believe this has not gone yet! a rick made by the great john diggins himself which is probably better than a real rick(let the mud slinging commence!) it just goes to show how piss poor the market is at present. pre` financial slump i could see this fetching twice what its up for now.
  2. hi scooby, very intrigued by these and how it picks up the sound. does it still pick up fret buzz like a conventional system? i know this is fretless but you know what i mean. i.e can you lower the action to a stupidly low setting with out any detriment to the sound? type bump. cheers. ad
  3. i had a vb99 same as this and they need to be heard to be believed. the emulation of all the classic basses is astonishingly accurate. its like having 10 plus different basses in one and then there is the synth side of things! awesome bit of kit and regret selling mine but was skint. i will get another one when i can afford it. type bump
  4. hi throwoff, its quite easy to do if you have a set of good drill bits and nice to use a pillar drill if poss. i personally would not bother doing it again to any of mine as never noticed a difference.
  5. if it's a class D amp, why is it the size of a suitacse ? +1 looks fab all the same
  6. wow thats not something you see too often. looks incredible. a shout out to the vegans too aye!

scuse my curiosity but the wal midi basses i have seen before had plastic fretboards with electronic frets that were made up of 4 separate contacts on each fret? and not seen a midi pick up near the bridge before? does it have the 15 pin connection on rear?cheers
  9. here we have a lovely and pretty rare yamaha BB1500a. i suppose you would class it as a super jazz. plays like a dream and has a very wide tonal palette from the active electrics. there are extra midrange tailoring pots in the rear electrics cavity. all in all a very good professional bass for a not too hefty price tag. its in very good condition with no dings and comes with a good quality moulded hard case. cheekily using original sales advert photos as its in the same condition. £375 including postage to your door. trades welcome. try me. cheers all. ad WILL TAKE £325 POSTED. BARGAIN! Body: Solid Alder Body Neck: 34" Scale Bolt-on Maple Neck with 21 Frets Pickups: 2 Stacked Alnico Single Coil Pickups

  11. a trade is looming so get ya readies out to avoid great sadness!
  12. that is bloody lovely. wish i had the beer vouchers for it.
  13. as above in fantastic original condition P/J style bass with active 3 band eq or passive at the flick of a switch. this bass does precision tones better than one with an F on it and the bridge jazz is awesome too. quite simply the best tone on a bass i have had in many years but the neck is P profile so not for me as i love the skinny necks. a few dings and dongs and scratches as you would expect on a 30 year old bass but nothing too bad at all. open to trades or £325 posted in a hard case. cheers
  14. if crazily its not gone i would gladly pay a hundred quid for a ibanez musician.
