beautiful ibanez sr1000 factory fretless. i got this in a bit of a mess from FEEbay a while back. i changed the pups that were "entwhistle" cheapies to a new set of tesla ones(very nice), the control cavity had been the victim of some freehand routing so that was all levelled off and tidied up. then copper lined. shimmed the neck to get the action much lower(properly). it has had some more routing on the pickup holes i dont know why but the odd edge is a bit duff but not too bad. the "R" of sdgr on the headstock has been scraped off again i no idea why. it needs a nice pre amp installing and you will have a bloody nice bass with the slimmest necks available and in some very tart woods. i dont have the need now and the money to finish it off so needs to go and be loved elsewhere. the neck is a factory fretless and presume it is impregnated board as there is no wear on it quick sale at bargain price £280 posted. i think for a top ibanez in a pretty rare format thats a bargain.

bloody hell that is really nice. i was just thinking that there had been not much that floated my boat in terms of bass build and then comes this. that is stunning! what would something like that be in cash monies? i dont have any but would be interested to know how far out of my range a bass like that is. beautiful!

as above in 150 watt flavour. never thought i would do this after searching for one for ages but poverty has forced my hand. its in superb condition. the head part is spotless and the cab has been stripped and oiled and looks very good. these are pretty legendary amps and bloody hard to find as they dont get sold often at all. its still got the original electrovoice speaker in it and it is the best sounding amp i have had. the compressor is sublime and i know i am going to regret selling it and this decision has taken 3 weeks to arrive at. in their day it was the top of the crop and hideously expensive and there is a big market for them in japan. i am going to start the proceedings at £400 inc` post which is a good price for a very tidy one if you can find one. cheers for looking. ad

hi no i already have one in 4 string style. the best necks you can get for my money. its a shame these are often overlooked because they are made by ibanez. i have had all the top basses over the years but always come back the ibanez prestige range as they tick all the boxes for me. good luck with the sale.
