  1. Saw ghost the Albert hall on the 9th. sound was pretty dire and the bass was pretty non existent from my seat shame really as the show itself was mesmerising

  7. strengths- can pick like a hammer and can keep up with any metal guitarist weaknesses- lazy when it comes to practicing. sometimes becoming very complacent...also very lazy when it comes to warming up

  13. Great find....I bought one of the butterscotch ones that used to come as a package. Whacked a SD quarter pounder in it and haven't looked back since.

As the great man in my avatar once said "if you think you're too old for rock and roll, then you probably are" I turned 39 Sunday and have noticed the last year or so im having more and more trouble finding a rock/metal band due to my age. I have had a few replies saying im to old (which im obviously not) but I can understand it if the band are in their early 20s.itll get worse next year when im 40 and everyone thinks you are a dressing gown moaning about the weather. I have no intentions of stopping playing the music I love but I find it worrying that bands are dismissive straight off the bat just because of a number What do you guys think ?

  17. my local one is rubbish. they sell second hand gear at ridiculous prices. they had a squire precision at £10 below new price and you could easily see the wear. The new prices had such a mark up I stood there in amazement
  18. my first amp was a rb9 and had a rb410 4x10 cab. I love them but my back didn't. the only reason I got rid was the weight. never let me down once
  19. its bloody terrible. venues and promoters think one share of a facebook post is promoting
  20. defo never the st moritz club. as has been mentioned, an absolute dive, not advertised anything. we was told well be on at 930 and had 10 mates coming to see us so they turned up at 915 as another band is setting up. I say to soundguy "whats going on" his reply was "oh weve slotted in another band last minute, your on at 1030 now". he then had the cheek to cut our set early as he said we ran over time

  22. we dont have a lot, no pa,lights so we set our own individual gear up. I am more or less on hold though until drummist has set his cymbals up otherwise I have nicks and digs in the tolex of my cabs
