1. Ive been having a bit of bother with the repetitive bassline in Boogie Oogie Oogie, but found that a good stretch before playing it seems to help with the pain
2. well done mate heres to many more Threads like this are great, we never stop learning, I myself have only very recently ( i.e. last gig I played) learned to write my set list in a large enough font to be able to actually see it whilst on stage. Marker pens on multiple sheets of paper are the way forward All the best, I hope we share a stage one day
3. Just learning it ( or an approximation of it) for a function gig. What a fun and funky little tune, I wonder who wrote the bassline? That is all. As you were

6.
A question if I may, why do you close your eyes and play in the dark.... Surely just one would do the job
He's scared of the dark

12. Although I haven't bought it from matt, he was a great help in sorting me out with some info on a book I needed from the States - many thanks for the help Matt. Top BCer
13. I have a prob at the minute where everytime i want to make a new 'saved search' it wont let me, tells me that i have exceeded the maximum number of saved searches. So I deleted a load, and now only have a few but it still wont let me save a new one. Ebay gets on my t*ts sometimes
14. cool! Always wanted a 'Tena for men' bass! aw, no wait..... he'll think im taking the p*ss.....
15. I can see that the board itself is unlined, but does it have any side dots on the neck or anything?
16. Im thinking that lighter guage strings might help, but as I like to use flatwounds Im not sure how light they go tbh
17. Similair to KevinLindsay there ^^ I have visited the Gp recently who took some bloods to look for 'inflammatory markers' but that didnt turn up any results.
18. Im not getting any younger, but just lately I can tell if Ive played my bass the previous day as I get pain in my right (plucking) wrist a couple of inches up from the 'crease' and my fretting hand just hurts all over. Its really started worrying me of late, it started in November and I thought id just overdone it a bit, but it hasnt gone away like i hoped it would. Ive tried varying my strap height but that doesnt seem to have made any difference. Any tips on how to deal with this? cheers
19.
a music shop in Cov with a 6 string bass??? Which one was that? 22. Bought a fretless neck off the Boy, To echo what has been said above, packaged well and good comms throughout, nice one mate
23. Like OMG that is like soooooooo last century dooood ^^
24. Cant see a problem meslef, my current fretless has them, but that's because its a converted scaffolding plank, I try to play with my eyes closed anyways to practice my intonation so it doesn't make a shred of difference. having spent a bit of time with a tuner ive realised that the lines mostly don't correspond to correct pitching anyway lol
