I've decided to buy a semi-acoustic to cut down on the amount of guitars I take to a gig, meaning this Dean Electro is now not needed. In immaculate condition - just about as brand new (only gigged with it once). No dings at all. 8 months old. EQ also includes a tuner. Comes with a set of flats (they are either TIs or LaBellas). Only issue is a slight resonant vibration on the A string which only appeared with the flats. Hard case has a latch broken, but is very clean. Want £260 - postage extra (would really prefer not to post though as its quite delicate). Live in Hull, can meet for contribution towards fuel. Pex possible - try me...Would love an old Ibby Roadster or Precision. Very keen on 70s Jap stuff - cash either way
How about a 70's Maya Telecaster bass in exceptionally good condition
A sec of feeler guages should cover the same ground, but not look as snazzy.
I was taught the side of a fag packet method and given that smoking is on the way out this may well become a lost art. Gives me an idea for an ebay auction
 3.
Thanks Noel, that's fascinating stuff & some very persuasive ideas. Don't suppose you have any catalogues or promo literature? I'd love to see some pics of the Matsuoka-made Shiros. Would you think a Matsuoka/Cimar connection had any credence? J.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Electra-X-940-and-fu...=item2a0b7d2161 Ok not a bass but a beauty none the less
 4.
I've just got the one atm, but seriously tempted to get a lightweight rig too for practices and small gigs. My current rig is my dream rig, it's just a royal PITA to lug a 1kw head and a 4x10 to practices, very tempting to get a micro head and 2 small cabs (maybe 2 neo 1x12s). Please just tell me I'm being stupid and I only need one amp.
1 more Mesa than I had at 8-45 this morning.....I will really have to take a sanity check as got stuff in the garage & the attic thats forgotten about...I feels an ebay moment coming on... T
 5.
FINAL bump before eBay tomorrow.
Break it up......Body, neck & case.. I got over £100 on a 70s Avon neck only a couple of weeks ago... Forgive me but its only wood and metal Exits stage Right AND RUNS FOR COVER

 8. I put this on the bay and unbeknown to me these amps are supposedly pretty good for use with a bass.....the rest of the parts probably not so but all are quite saleable. http://www.musicplayers.com/reviews/guitar...StilettoAce.php
Tis Mine.... 11.
And the reply would suggest its OK to talk bollx Here it is Dear tino7770, Sorry - I missed the ? that should have been in the title after the word Ibanez, to clarify that I didn't know what it was. If you could read (the description), it might have dawned on you that I'm not saying it's an Ibanez 4003 - I don't think they made one. It is a copy of a Rickenbacker 4003 made by an unknown manufacturer. It has certain features which led me to believe that it could possibly be by made by the aforesaid company - but I don't know - which is why I asked in the listing for potential bidders to make their own mind up what it is. Please DO NOT bid on my guitar if you have any doubts about what you are buying. It is not a Rickenbacker - it may be a Japanese copy of one - I DON'T KNOW. If you think it's 'chancy' - that's what's so good about Ebay - it's not compulsory to bid! Thank you, Graham - grahamtosca Well that told me....It told me hes being liberal with the facts Possibly Im not bidding then
Just spoke on the phone to with the seller he comes across as a real nice fella. He was sold this as an Ibanez over 10 years ago by a guitar shop,he is revising the ad to state that he has been made aware it is probably not an Ibanez... So I must apologise to the chap, Had a listen to his sound clip....not bad
 12.
I was made redundant recently and have some money tucked away which is earning me 0.5% interest currently. I was thinking that it may be better invested by buying something and tucking it away for a few years. I did this recently with a Wal but this didn't go as well as I'd liked - I'm convinced I paid too much..so I'm looking at other potential purchases. The obvious answer would be to buy the oldest Fender I could afford and stick it in the loft. However since collectable Fenders are already expensive I was wondering what others would buy and tuck away as an investment.
Dont hang me BUT A bas is not you best bet A nice early 70's LP custom is going to appreciate faster than a 70's Fender bass...................and its a buyers market....especialy if you are willing to import from the States.. Just bought a 1934 Gretsch acoustic in VGC with original hardcase...USA $900.......whats it worth in the UK...possibly double and a bit A 66 Mosrite for $600 again in fine condition......these make silly money here....Why I have no Idea Gibbos are a Safe bet.....can I sell you one maybe????lol

Unfortunately for the seller I already have one Buy it Now

You pays yer money yer makes your choice. Is it really wrong for a fella to try to make a few quid????? It s him or cash corrupters...... Dont see the problem REALLY
 17. Or you could by my GORGEOUS MIJ 51 Precision reissue.the telecaster headstock one..and Im only in Cheshunt so thats not to far....Not a mark on it and its 15 years old...and comes with hardcase....same sort of money........

Good luck with the sale.
I would imagine Lawrence to be quite miffed and somewhat upset by the insinuations,I will therefore pass this one over

 22.
You could do a Francis rossi and drill a hole through the body and lock it through there? And those who bought the Ibanez Steve Vai signature with the grab handle can too save $49 and just use a normal bike lock!
I take it we do not expect them to be of mass appeal then?? Why not just entrust your instrument to one of your road crew....if he loses it he loses his livelihood....I shall be selling this idea (pat pend) for £19.99 and if you buy now with a credit card I will also include a free invisibiliser, will deter the theif ....but requires the user to have a good memory
