Surprised this is still here. As Cameron says a lot of bass for the wedge. Plus it is impregnated with Lee's bass mojo! Worth 340 sheets alone!

I'm having a bit of a tidy up/clear out. Have decided I have far too many bags most of which are never used. Quite a few a spoken for now but these two are left: 1) Protection Racket (think this is the 7151 model). Semi-hard case with one large (class D head size) and one smaller front pocket. Neck support and padding on the inside. Very robust bag, zipper in particular is excellent. Condition is very good - excellent in fact. Just the odd scuff from light use over recent years 2) Benevente braded heavy leather. No idea who made it, came with a Benevente 7 string bass I owned many years back. It is a beautiful leather gig bag although carries a few scuffs now. I have also added some additional fabric to interior - it is very well padded and superplush (you could sleep in it very cosy if you were small enough) but an area started to wear from the bass control knobs hence the repair. I have replaced most of the zip pulls as well - they died very early one Both are excellent bags with loads of life, just surplus to requirements - especially in the current climate! The search for my P bass continues. Picked this up from DoubleOhStephan earlier this year. It is lovely but I'm looking for something slightly different I think, time to change. Stephan, hope you don't mind linking the original add as there is tons of info here: Since taking the bass I've corrected the bridge which was at a slight angle. The bass also has a white pickguard on it now but I can swap this out to tort if that was desirable. Currently strung with d'addario XLs, again these could be changed out to flats if you prefer (by me I mean, obviously you could also do it yourself later if you wanted to....) The eagle-eyed amongst you might say "hold on a minute abd, the price on the original add was 245 and yours is 300, whats that about? You're not being a very good BC citizen now are you?". You may say other things as well. £300 includes UK shipping and a case or gig big. If you want to collect, socially distanced of course, then happy to drop the price. Every dreamed of splashing out on a perfect pair? Well here's your chance! I'm changing a few things up and need to let these go which I will no doubt regret at a later stage. Both are in excellent condition, in fact the Dubterranea has not been gigged. I can probably find the IE packaging too.... Xerograph The Xerograph Deluxe is a 4-pole resonant lowpass filter, inspired by synthesizers, with deep envelope capabilities and expression control, which can be used together or separately. In addition to the dubby static lowpass sounds and foot-swept resonant filter sweeps of the original Xerograph, the Xerograph Deluxe can create envelope filter sounds from classic auto-wah to modern subtractive synthesis, downward envelopes, and triggered slow synth sweeps. Version 2: The XD has been retooled with a new expression attenuator knob, a stomp switch to activate the envelope follower, all jacks on top, improved envelope response in Down mode, and some subtle tweaks that make it easier to dial in. Dubterranea Multi-octave synth oscillator Dubterranea is a multi-octave pitch-tracking oscillator, capable of generating classic synthesizer waveforms in three octaves simultaneously. When combined with the Xerograph Deluxe filter, the pair form a full subtractive synthesizer, allowing a bass or guitar (or voice, saxophone, etc...) to create a wide variety of thick electronic timbres - all with an immediate, intuitive, one-knob-per-function interface. The pedal contains two synth voices - one playing in unison with the note you play, and a second that can be switched between one octave up and one octave down. Waveforms can be selected independently for each of these voices, each with its own distinct timbre - triangle, sawtooth, square, and narrow pulse. Additionally, there is a third voice based on classic octave-down pedals. This voice's tone is influenced by the sound of your original note, with a dedicated Timbre knob that removes harmonics at one end - for an extremely deep, smooth, almost sine wave sound - and then progressively adds harmonics at the top end, for extra gritty, harmonically rich sounds perfect for feeding into the Xerograph Deluxe filter. A second foot switch turns the synth voices on and off, allowing the pedal to be used both as a traditional octave down pedal, and a synthy oscillator, without adjusting controls. The synth voices also have their own dedicated effects loop, so that effects can be applied only to these voices, and an entire synth chain can be switched on and off with the Synths stomp switch. These work fantastically well together hence selling as a pair. I will split them in which case the prices are 175 each including UK shipping. Ok so where do I start.... I was lucky enough to own this bass - quite a few years back now. It was one of my early forays into the world of 5 strings strung E-C. It had been played when I had it but as Hellzero says, it's just playwear and the bass itself was (and I'm sure still is) fantastic. I agree with everything said here, these original Zoids are a wonderful design and whilst I love what Enrico is doing now they are still my favourite. @Claude if you are reading this I would still love to get the VM Zoid back....! This bass was resonant, lightweight and overall a joy to play. The quilt top was very 3D and much more striking in person. Perfect spacing, fabulous neck and whilst I moved it on in search of a 33 scale on reflect perhaps 34 was just as good if not better. I did find the nordstrand pickups lively but the whole thing was undoubtedly supersweet. It's great to see the bass again. At one time there were quite a few W&Ts and Zoids flying around on the forum but that seemed to stop a while ago. They are wonderful instruments for sure, the comparison to Fodera is perhaps asking to be made but I'm not sure entirely fair - I think these are quite special in their own right but perhaps with some Fodera inspiration. GLWTs matey. It's a great bass!

Keep coming back to this, but I can't escape the conclusion that I'm not a scientist....

They say nostalgia is not what it used to be. Except perhaps in the case of te amps. There are some fab modern amps but I'm not sure they're better than these, just different...
