I can say the same things as the others on here - good communication and item as described - recommended seller for sure.

I have been mucking around with a Zoom MS70cdr which is a cheap way to play around with it. Using it in a loop as it's simpler to bypass that way. But you can chain delays and reverb (and mods and filters and drives etc) together. Then last week I picked up an Eventide H9 at a decent which sound wise is maybe only 10% better and can only do one effect at a time. I was actually quite shocked how close the Zoom gets tbh. If you're looking for a cheap way to start playing with Reverbs the zoom is really recommended. (and I would say that even if I going to be moving mine on!)

Pangborn Warlord graphite …history?
Lord Hautdesert replied to Lord Hautdesert's topic in Bass Guitars
I also think it is 1986, but in that 1985 article the writer says an all graphite bass is the next step for the brand, so I wonder if that was the plan but wood ended up part of the mix for financial or practical reasons, such as the stiffness or warp in Modulus necks documented at the time. -
that looks really interesting!

Good day, I had a VT Bass Pedal and adored the sound but stopped using it so sold it. These days I'm going straight to desk with a Sansamp Bass Driver DI and have considered buying another VT Bass pedal but then saw the DI version. This looks like my ideal tool. Are there any negatives when compared to the Bass Driver di? Thanks in advance.

Loaded PJ body, supposedly has vintage schallers in the P position and a tonerider in the jazz position. Controls are Volume, Blend and tone. WIRING WILL NEED TO BE REDONE as there is a lot of buzzing and the P pickup doesn't seem to work, after looking it seems the solder has come off the tone pot (i do not know how to solder or how basses are wired up) Some form of unmarked Hi-Mass bridge that feels lovely and look pristine. The body has many bumps and bruises which I have pictured (mojo 😎) and is an 80's aria body. It was put together by Chandler guitars in London and I acquired it in a trade last year so apologise about my lack of information. Trades for anything are considered, let me know. Local pickup in or around Berkshire preferred but I can look into shipping it if needed.

Hi All, Just picked up a new to me bass. An Ibanez SRX700. It’s a neck thru beast and it’s very nice to play. Can’t seem to find much information on these basses but it’s a great weight and has a lovely tonal pallete and looks amazing. Really pleased with it? If anyone knows more about these, please share 🙏

I think it's important to recognise the distinction between different content creators. Some play so you can watch; others play so you can watch and learn. Some show and review gear and others primarily talk about gear. Then there are the teachers - music teachers, bass teachers, and those that do both. The rarest breed are the teachers who are great players/players who are great teachers; I'm not talking, in the immortal words of Flea, 'all flash and no smash', but the rounded players who also have a gift for teaching. The two that I really admire are Richie Blake and Dan Hawkins.

I had a LaBella, tapewound, G string (stop it!) that rattled. I thought it was a high spot on my fretless, but I stuck it on a fretted and it still rattled. Contacted LaBella (it had been a good while since I purchased them from the retailer and knew I wouldn't get any help because of that) and they couldn't have been more helpful. I covered the postage and they sent me a new G string (oi! I've told you before ), rattle gone. The point of this tale is that it might be a faulty string, which appears to be a more common occurrence that you'd think.

I recently sold a Big Sky. That should do everything you want. Prices have dropped, thanks to the introduction of the Big Sky MX Just a thought....

Wow, I wouldn't have guessed the Cutlass necks to be made by Modulus. The Alembic and Musicman necks were constructed very differently to Modulus necks, with their woven graphite monocoques rather than the patchwork necks Modulus used on their own basses. Today I learned!

I thought that he was going for the "comedy Yorkshire" thing! I see him in the pub from time to time. Nice guy, very short!

Brian sold me a nice pedalboard and case at a great price too. As also told in these nearly 9 pages of great feedback, he's a gentleman and Basschat Legend. Thanks Brian

Has this happened since you changed the strings to tapes? How's the relief on the neck?
