  1. Past hour
  2. So long as they use it, thats great. I don't want to give them something that sits in a corner and isn't used. Thats the only criteria. I've downsized some guitars to them as well. If I don't use it, I'd rather somebody else did. I've seen a few of them in use at concerts which is great. Kids break things as well, so I suspect they go through lots of stuff. Rob
  3. No I don't work for BD or have any affiliation to them but have bought and sold with them for many years and I've always been more than happy with the deals struck. Emails have always been answered quickly sometimes straight away, any problems I've had, and there have only been a couple, not down to BD themselves and they have been dealt with immediately. I think it's great to have a bass specific shop.
  4. One of the most versatile bass amps ever made, and the top of the pile Genz Benz Shuttle bass head. Two discrete channels – a 12AX7 tube one and a clean FET one – that can be switched between or used simultaneously, blending between the two. This is also switchable with the optional footswitch. Each channel contains a 4-band EQ with dual parametric mids. Also features 3 fully adjustable global signal-shaping filters. This combination offers maximum versatility and tone-shaping with a power section that boasts bags of headroom, producing 900 watts @ 4 ohms and 500 watts @ 8 ohms. All in an ultra light 3.75lb Class D design. This is the 2nd generation of the SHUTTLE® MAX design, which incorporates proprietary 3DPM™. This 3 Dimensional Power Management technology ensures more solid output with increased heft and girth of the individual notes, while maintaining the articulation and dynamics of the note. The amp is in Excellent condition, never having been gigged or racked – as close to New as you’re likely to find. Selling as I’m downsizing my rig (although my Shuttle 9.2 is going nowhere!). Optional GB bag and rack mounting kit included. Only £450 for the lot. Collection from London E2 preferred. May ship at buyer cost.
  5. Your local school is getting a serious piece of kit. 👍
  6. He also has three of them... somebody made one of them and thought... "Do you know what the world needs more of? Expensive, hideous and unusable bass guitars with really nice hardware." So they went and elevated their first "mistake" into a crime against taste. If I ever find out who did this, I'd give their care worker and their guide dog a dammed good talking to. Rob
  7. I'd avoid Mark Bass amps. they are no less reliable than their rivals but if they do go wrong outside of the guarantee period expect no support. They have contracted out repairs to a single company and there is no possibility of third party repairs. The only real repair on offer is a complete board replacement at a significant proportion of the cost of a new amp. Ashdown on the other hand offer the best after sales in the business.
  8. i just bought an AE112 and honestly i'm stunned by the sound it makes been toying with finding another (as i'm running a 900 watt head haha - oops) - then i see this literally as we've emptied the bank on kiddo's birthday next month DOH !!! and my god you're near by too.... nooooooooooooooooooooooo GLWS someone is gonna love this
  9. lol, I've only seen a quote in reference to Pratchett's punctuation theory upon trying to look it up. I did however learn a new word, Interrobang 👍 I also counted 6 exclamation marks, even too many by my standards, sorry 😁
  10. Flushed Down the Pipes - Kaitlin Hopkins , Linda Hart
  11. You are putting some really nice kit up for sale!
  12. Have a look at the photos for details. Just don't use them anymore.

  14. This thing is hideously ugly and completely unsuitable for any gig ever... so I want it to be my main bass! Tbf, being ESP custom shop it is probably built really solidly!
  15. Another price drop. Any takers?! This is an absolute steal!! Such a great rig, capable of so much tone! A brand new SansAmp RBI is £399, and its essentially two of these, a power amp, a 4U shallow rack, and a 410!
  16. I think either a mirror or a piece of black metal matching the knobs.
  17. This one is defretted Bartolini pickups and harness. Ive actually been playing it a bit lately trying to get my fretless chops up for studio
  18. Flushed From The Bathroom Of Your Heart — Johnny Cash
  19. Def, Glen Matlock had some very nice inventive bass lines to some of those songs - and a great sound too.
  20. The copper tape looks good - you might be able to improve on it a little by using wider tape so there isn't a seam and maybe using some sort of small roller to make it absolutely flat (possibly, not sure if that would work), but that's pure nit-picking.
