  1. Past hour
  2. I would keep it. Not everyone stays with 5/6 basses forever, so there will be a time when you will kick yourself for selling it.
  3. Monetary considerations aside it is a simple question of which is more 'unbearable' : the guilt of having it but not being used or the regret that you would definitely feel once you sell it (and unsuccessfully trying to buy back)
  4. Bought a Stingray from Alex in a super easy transaction, great comms and the bass is superb, cheers Alex!
  5. Not getting the love it deserves so seeing if any interest. Comes with the original hardcase and black pickguard but just listing real quick. More details to come. Trade interest for a US Fender with rw neck and block inlays, otherwise only selling this to get one on Mod Shop. Part ex consideration for a JMJ/American Performer Mustang
  6. One with a deeper voice, or who types a bit harder
  7. I sold Stefan a pedalboard - great comms, quick payment and a great transaction all round. Cheers!
  8. I had the stereo and sold it. Regretted it and bought the mono. It really is the Swiss Army knife of amp world. I’ve got a Markbass Evo 1 to try out at the moment which basically, has the Multiamp amps and effects but has two independent channels, which is exactly what I need. I think it’s what I’ve been looking for, for a long time 😁
  9. £50 price reduction Trades - X Touch Universal. Try me with anything, I can only say no 😁 Great bass in good condition, comes with hard case. Short scale. Not a heavy bass. Plays well. Not really any damage to speak of. There’s a little bit at the top of the headstock (photographed) but looks much worse than it actually is. I’ve removed the strap lock pins and replaced them with the originals that were odd when I got it. The case is old but fully function and all the clasps work. Can post at buyers expense or can be collected from BB22SH Any questions please ask.

  12. Hi. Here you go (from the Gator site)... Length 12.50" Width 19.00" Height 9.00" Cheers!
  13. Thanks, Mokl. I was running two as a vertical stack – best live sound I've ever had!
  14. absolutely. Will check. I am thinking of buying some tools and get on with routing on my own god help us
  15. The shocks I've recieved are where someone has removed an earth to prevent a ground loop hum. Eg. Guitar amp (hand) to Microphone (mouth) where the Pa Earth has been removed to prevent hum from Keys.
  16. I remember reading somewhere that My Generation By the Who was recorded using a Danelectro longhorn bass? il have to try and find the article. Regarding flats on a jazz bass , i always use flats on my jazz bass , just prefer the sound personaly, i suppose it depends what type of sound you are looking for.
  17. I wanted some new cables a while back and asked myself 'what does the man who can afford anything get?'. David Gilmour uses Evidence cables and so I got those. @rumblefish and I did a 3-way comparison with cables at various price points and the Evidence was noticably better (to our ears). Quie an investment, obviously, but one I was happy to make.
  18. Exactly!
  19. Bought a pedalboard from Joel. Arrived quickly, well packaged, and as promised. Excellent basschatter!
  20. I do like what this does but unemployment isn’t compatible with having 5 preamp pedals so something’s got to go. This does a nice console breakup and the Pultech EQ thing via two toggle switches. Really high quality headphone amp too. Has a high pass filter too, which isn’t seem so often. In outstanding condition with original box. (More pictures to follow.)

  21. I’m in exactly the same position. Got a stingray that I bought new in 1989. It’s the only 4 string I still own. Switched to 5 years ago. Don’t need the money but feel guilty it’s not being used. That said, it was a dream bass in the display window in sound control that I promised myself to get if I finished completing a qualification at the time
  22. Keep it, it’s time may come. I had similar with my P bass that was largely untouched for nearly a decade but now is used regularly.
  23. Today
  24. I have a stingray clone that I’m attached to, but don’t play much as I mainly play 5 string now. I’m attached as partner bought it for me. yours is more valuable; I invite you to consider those people on here who sold 60s and 70s basses for peanuts but now wish they had not done so. correlate much? you can always sell it if you get desperate for cash but if not, rationalise it as an investment and just keep it ticking over maintenance-wise.
  25. I thought this would be a mash-up between Rodeo and Watersports. Before I actually read the thread, I left a deposit. Can I get it back please?
