Kind of old school, and yet kind of useful. I used it to connect an iPad to a midi keyboard to have loads of synthy fun for not much money. Obv, I have been sucked in to more expensive stuff by now. It is the way of the world. But even Garage Band will provide you with myriad patches which are totally useable. Or you could use it as and audio interface. Lightning connector. iPad mini or standard. Lots of fun for pennies.

Got this a short while ago here (paid a happy £300) and then promptly got a Vanderkley / Eich rig - so virtually unused by me (or the former owner it seems). Still available new around £560. Excellent unmarked condition, used at home low levels but it seems easily capable of handling smaller gigs with live drums. 300W, 2 x 10" Width 43cm x Depth 38 x Height 52cm Weight 14 Kg These are stock shots for now, will get actual pics asap, but it looks exactly the same. Don't have a cover. Reluctant to ship (courier bit is easy, it's the packing that causes the problem) - but I will drive a bit to meet up.

I don’t know what was on it but they were immediately swapped for Chromes which sound fab.

Believe me Dave, I know better now. Daryl

You should! lightweight tuners made a big difference for me also experimenting with strings. T.I. Jazz Flats are superb on this. Did yours come with Dean Markley blue steel?

Help with identifying this gender jazz bass

FWIW, from the not very clear pics I think it’s genuine, if the seller could check that the blocks are stickers ( which is quite easy ) , if they aren’t stickers then there’s something wrong and I’d stay away from it -
Also I just checked on what differences there are between the Tonex Bass Pedal and the normal Tonex pedal. There are no differences apart from the bass pedal packages are pre-installed and cosmetically different. You can install the bass pack on a normal Tonex pedal. https://cgi.ikmultimedia.com/viewtopic.php?t=55392 Rob

Is that the pirate thing based around the opensourced software? be very interested in your thoughts on that,. Rob
-
No but the ToneX One midi interface turned up today, so I am going to have a play with that

So,there’s a bass on eBay I want to buy, only problem is the sellers in London,I’m in Manchester,he won’t post it,I’ve asked if he could just pack it up and I can send parcelforce to collect it on my behalf,he didn’t want to do that either, without doing a 8 hour round trip does anybody know any other way of getting it up to Manchester?,

I don't know if this is scientifically correct but I definitely understand where you're coming from. I've never considered this to be honest. -

Oooo, that's going to look good. Glad to see some movement on it.

I'm not a fan of "Best of" videos either, but this there was a lot of detail in this that more technically inclined buyers might appreciate - not the usual mindless waffle. Shame about the voiceover and AI translation, but the content is much better than the usual fare.
-
Good advice. Thanks Rob
