  3. A set of the above, fit Mexican Fenders (HVAC tape currently around shaft as recommended by Hipshot for a tighter fit). Price includes postage in UK.
  4. The 'for sale' section here is a really valuable resource. The previous listings contain what is surely the second-biggest archive of sold basses in the UK after ebay and the best archive of, you know, good basses that you might actually want. However, often when something is sold a seller will just remove everything. The details, the images, the price, the condition. This makes it difficult to value something you want to sell, difficult to track a unique bass' history and difficult to find information about something you've just purchased. Of course most of this applies to amps and the other for sale sections too, just there tends to be fewer unique or rare pieces in the other forums. Is there maybe a way this could be stopped? Maybe just limiting the ability to edit posts in those sections? I get that it is probably hard to do from a technical stand point as the system can't discern the difference between correcting a typo and deleting the whole text. I also understand that the bloat of old posts probably contributes a load on the basschat servers. But like, it just seems such a waste.
  5. Ach, book the Monday off - I will be. Let's scheme this out. I can feel a plan forming. I'll be in touch...
  6. I'm running a 4ohm 2x15, so I think that should be sufficient!
  7. Did they close with How's About That Then?
  8. Scrap that delayed until the end of the month.
  9. A set of the above. Fit Japanese Fender Mustang basses so prob most MIJ/CIJ Fenders (HVAC tape currently around shaft as recommended by Hipshot for a tighter fit). One key slightly different as shown, with the screw at the end, but all genuine USA Hipshots. Price includes postage in UK.

  16. No I haven’t bought an MXR Synth Bass (yet…) but I’ve accepted I just prefer my Ftelettronica Suboctave. This is the same pedal as the now famous Taylor Shift but with a different visual design. It includes a low pass filter which sounds great and the octave circuit is one of the best OC-2 clones out there. Can either ship or happy to meet anywhere in London. Any questions let me know!
  17. Ok, so never filed a nut before. Any tips or guidance? Currently, have a bass 'sat' in E standard on 45-105's, and quite fancy changing it to BEAD tuning. Got a set of 45-135's incoming, so will be sticking those on, but obviously, I'll have to file the nut for them to fit. Assuming it's a case of "easy does it"? Do a bit on either side, then see how the string fits? Any tips or tricks I need to know? Thanks. 👍
  18. I have this epifani 600 watt @4 ohm cab for sale ..long story short I had an issue with an amp which cooked the original speakers along with the tweeter ..I have replaced the drivers with celestians which were £150.00 for the pair and installed a new tweeter ..weight wise it’s 25kg ..its collection only from Wymondham Norfolk Nr189ju or I can meet within 40miles with some petrol money .

  19. Wonder what they have planned 9:49 to 10:30?
  20. Hello from near Sneckyville
  21. It seems a bit silly. Surely, if you buy it and return it, then it becomes b-stock? You would probably also have to pay for the return shipping.
  22. Just spoken to my diary secretary/CEO/partner in crime and she's OK with me going AWOL for the weekend. So am planning to come down now. The only hassle is coming back as I probably have to go to work on Monday. @neepheid we probably need to discuss how to break the space-time continuum and work how to get everything into your car or we simply take my larger estate 😊 I'll probably bring 3d printed headless bass 3d printed six string Westone Thunder Bass and matching Westone Thunder six string Probably one or two others. I'll bring a couple of pedalboards as well. If people are interested in a custom made pedal board, absolutely made to measure for sensible donations to charity, let me know. Also if we are looking to do 'work' I'm happy to run a software and hardware IT clinic. If people have issues let me know in advance so I can see if I can help. Rob

  24. I normally replace with a Graphtech Tuzq nut.
  25. Who decides what constitutes "high risk"? To me, Coldplay are a high risk band. There's a high risk they will bore me to death.
  26. Unlike other people they ripped off were influenced by, Glitter was given a writing credit. But he transferred outright ownership of his music when he sold the rights in 1997.
