  2. Hi all Always overshoot on the requirements This stuff was bought so that I have a spare set of pedals when I go back home to gig 🤓. And I bought them over COVID with the funds that I would have spent on food and coffee while commuting. We all did crazy things over that period. anyway - Radial JDI - pretty much new, can’t find the box. 175 posted. - Darkglass X Ultra boxed - 250 posted - Markbass Octaver may have the box - 75 posted - Markbass Tube Drive no box - 65 posted can do hand over at King’s Cross with some notice. Travelling to Sheffield next week too
  3. I like them. If it wasn't for the fact that I need a slow gear/volume swell effect live, it would be my all-in-one solution.
  4. Black base with tortoiseshell guard is always a winner in my book.
  5. From ‘72/73 era. In great working order, perfect really. 100w of vintage valve goodness. As much as I love it it’s not getting much use due to being involved in two acoustic bands. Happy to travel to meet up if that helps anyone not fortunate enough to live in Yorkshire.

  6. I agree. There are some songs where the baseline is the song (or at least a huge part of it) and you can’t mess with that. But for others, you just need to find what works. Thats the difference between a cover band who play an interpretation and a tribute band, I guess.
  7. This one weighs 3.9kgs so much lighter than your average similar era Fender.
  8. This is one of my favourite dub tracks. It's astonishing. Very melodic bassline running over several bars. The cross-stick ridiculously high in the mix but totally perfect too.
  9. Yes Sly & Robbie I think
  10. Having driven a Nissan Juke as a hire car I find it to be an utterly horrible car to drive, so whatever's wrong with them it started before they bought their car.
  11. I had one of these back in the day except mine was fretless, super lightweight as I recall.
  12. For sale is the Microtubes B7K Ultra V2 which has the AUX input as well. Great sounding pedal with amazing ability to sculp both the tone on the preamp side and the distortion on the drive side of the pedal. There is some very impressive sounds that can be had out of this pedal. The pedal comes with the original box and all the goodies that came with it. I bought this pedal 3-4 years ago but the sound is a bit too much for the bands I am in. I was always hoping to use it but it has literally sat in the box the whole time. I had thought I might use it also as an emergency DI for gigs but I have never needed it. I would be really interested in trades for Iron Polytope because the funds coming from this will go towards this pedal. Possible option would be OE DCX or IE Frantabit. Possible option would be towards Bergantino HDN/HD 112 cab. If I was playing heavier music this pedal would absolutly be staying. £270, £260 including postage. Bank transfer or PayPal F&F.
  13. Line 6 HX Stomp, good used condition. Works as it should, just not my thing. Comes with Ian Martin Alison pack installed. £250 collected, £10 postage to mainland uk.
  14. I would assume as a responsible basschatter, the OP would either carry a spare few 50p pieces for the meter or their own generator.
  15. It can mean that someone can get a professionally designed and built board for well below the original cost.
  16. (The filter/chorus/distortion/drive will get added on again)
  17. Reduced to £185 posted via RM SD.
  18. It really depends on what you need to do, specifically, do you just need to get yourself into the pa system? If so then that's comparatively easy. Or are you also responsible for hearing (monitoring) yourself?
  19. I took my board to bits at the start of the summer - and partly laziness and partly not really needing much more this is what I’ve used the last few times … it just works
  20. First pickup route done, just needs a bit of tweaking. Just used a drill and chisel for this as it's a simple shape for the soapbar
  21. Today
  22. Mate it sounds INSANE. Very good to work on the 2 band EQ, I've had 3EQ Stingray specials and never missed it. It is the nicest bass I've had to sell...
  23. In very good used condition, original box and candy included. Velcro on the bottom. UK postage included. Collection/demo possible here in London N21.
  24. In very good used condition, hardly used with original box, power supply, manual and other candy. Velcro on the bottom. Includes UK postage. Collection/demo available London N21
  25. I’ve used tape for years without any trouble.
  26. You need something to create/shape tone and something to transmit that to your ears. At the cheapest end of the spectrum a multi-effects such as a Zoom MS60B (£60 used), IEM buds KZs maybe (£50) and transmitter/receiver such as Lekato (£50), will work. A step up might be a better preamp Tech 21 etc (£100-£150), better IE (Sennheiser £100) and trans/rec (NUX £150). You then start moving up to complex preamps, HX digital stuff (£350-£450), better IE and better trans/rec... prices vary massively now.
