  1. Past hour
  2. I'm told it's a really good effective tool with added benefits just clean it out regularly I use a cheap ultrasonic cleaner and a soak in Milton, thats why I go for the plastic bodies rather than the nicer wood ones. Learn how to strip it down. I'll warn you now, Harps are like basis the correct number is #+1
  3. £80 posted need cash asap
  4. For Irish and Scottish 'Paddy' tuning in A D & G will handle almost everything. Church and English folk is mostly Richter tunning. Americana is a mix try it in one tuning and if that doesn't work try the other. For Greensleeves and Scarborough Fair you need a cross tuned. Draw bending is just practice and not worrying about making an F'ing racket while you learn, preferably miles from anyone or anything😱. Some Harps are easier to bend than others. There are some awesome harpists out there but nearly all Blues and Rock
  5. I have an L2500 Tribute and it is the most versatile bass I've ever played. Enjoy the gig.
  6. Is it a 1st gen with powersoft or 2nd gen with ice power module? Andrew gouches mtd + puma 1000 tone haunted me...
  7. Lives up to the claim. Love it! I think that’s the best Doom 2 finish too.
  8. By then there should be a new pedal out which is getting all the hype, so you'll be wanting to get rid of the MXR quite cheaply... which is where I come in 😁 😉
  9. Took delivery of an M-VAVE WP-12 IEM system yesterday from Aliexpress for £22 (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008801254116.html). Use case: I'm exploring IEMs as a player and also for the pub cover bands I'm in. Outlay is a consideration and I'm focusing on simplicity to get everyone familiar and onboard before pulling the trigger, if ever, on pricey gear like an XR18 and Mi-Pro MI-58RT. Very pleasantly surprised by the quality: good tone, lack of hiss, imperceptible latency, rubberised plastic casings. The design is good too: it comes with a second IEM, the transmitter is also a charging station with it's own larger battery. The batteries of both the transmitter station and the IEM units last for at least 3 hours. So far so good, time will tell and I'll come back for any updates.
  10. It is! Its great, pretty much a Moog MF101 with a few more controls and a board friendly footprint.
  11. Good plan, then I can buy it off you a few months later!
  12. I was waiting on the sale of a bass to fund this but it fell through, you have done a marvelous job on it Rob., looks fantastic
  13. Haha, it’s true I’ve had boards that would match that description. I’ve not tried an Analogman pedal though and that looks cool.
  14. I have no idea how long this show was in the works. However, considering how many bands played the planning and organization was top notch. I can't "nit pick" tones or individual performance. It looked like everyone had a " blast " and got more than what they paid for. Daryl
  15. Today
  16. I don't know a lot about metal. But I know when a band touches the hearts and souls of millions over several generations they were onto something. I did see them in 1969. Must have been their first visit to the States. I was 15 years old. They played in the gymnasium at Montclair State College in New Jersey. I'm from Montclair. Daryl
  17. Now now stop getting competitive!
  18. First dibs on yours please when you sell it on then! 😅
  19. That was for sale about 4 miles from me. I think that if the seller's photos had been half as good as yours, it would have sold fast. I had no idea the figuring was that good. It's a stunner.
  20. Come See Tomorrow-Al McDowell
  21. Looks like it was an incredible event! Daryl
  22. Hi Chris, Seems I don’t automatically get a notification when someone replies! I’ve PM’d you the number. Terry
  23. Haha, yep, always happens. I've had load of synth pedals. All lasted about a month before being passed on again Still, I know I'll end up with one of these (however briefly)
  24. A punch-up or a blazing row on stage often helps keep things exciting 😁
