  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah, the whole bottom region seems to call up the window.
  3. That twisted neck puts me off. Would need serious luthier attention. AFAIK decal on varnish is right for early 60s. Don't know about 64.
  4. It's a problem because although the "choose files…" is underlined to indicate it is a link, clicking anywhere on the whole line from the D of "Drag files" up to the left edge of the Other Media button will bring up the dialog box even though the cursor only turns into the pointy hand on the underlined text. Either make just the underlined text the link or make the cursor change to the pointy hand everywhere that will bring up the dialog box.
  5. Markbass Travellor 1 x 15, 400 watt, 8ohm cab. In great condition. Hardly gigged. £250.00 Collection only or can meet within reasonable distance.
  6. The neck is narrowish near the headstock. Bit jazz bass style. Yes, great tonal options and punchy.
  7. Back up for sale. I’m selling my beautiful 2004 German-made Warwick Streamer LX Jazzman in Petrol Green – a seriously versatile and pro-level bass that’s built like a tank and sounds amazing. Lovingly looked after and in fantastic condition, gold hardware upgraded to black official Warwick hardware, new black Dunlop strap locks, and a new Just-A-Nut III brass nut, professionally fitted. Set up beautifully with a low action and new LaBella 40-100 stainless steel strings. Specs: • Swamp ash body with flame maple top • Bolt-on ovangkol neck with wenge fingerboard • 24 frets / 34” scale length • Just-A-Nut III brass nut (38.5mm width) • Warwick 2-piece brass bridge • MEC pickups: passive Jazz (neck) + MM-style humbucker (bridge) • 3-way mini toggle (series / parallel / single coil) • Active 3-band EQ (volume push-pull for passive bypass) • Weighs around 4kg – solid but very comfortable Condition: Very good overall. Some signs of use as expected for a bass of this age, but everything works perfectly. Frets are in great shape, neck is straight, and the electronics are super flexible. Uber versatile. This thing can do vintage warmth or modern bite with ease. Would prefer collection, but I have a proper box to post at buyers expense. Please make sure it is insured prior to sending. Also happy to meet within a 30 mile radius of Cardiff/Cowbridge/Bridgend. Any further questions, please feel free to ask. Cash on collection or bank transfer only please. Cheers ☺️☀️ PS Not looking for any trades. Thank you.

  8. These cabs do everything Phil put at the top of the ad. They are very good indeed
  9. Vanderkley 112EXT for Sale. 300 watts 1 x 12" speaker 8 ohms with Roqsolid cover. Great punchy sound and in very good condition. Collection only from Guildford area.
  10. Oh my, I think the bass gods are really toying with me; I was looking out for a Tune 5-string a while back (I have the TWB-6 and a couple of the later Korean models). Sadly, funds won't currently allow me to go for it but I can certainly vouch for the quality of these basses. Absolutely! GLWTS. 👍😎👍
  11. Being passive isn't the only factor - my Laklands are just more up my street, as I mentioned. It's still a lovely bass, but perhaps stands a better chance of being moved on unadulterated! 😉
  12. Bought yet another book from Mick. Great Comms, easy and efficient transaction - what a gent! Recommended 👍
  13. Thanks, the Bass tube screamer arrived today but I may get a Spark booster anyway as they are fairly inexpensive and popular so I am intrigued.
  14. It looks exactly the same on the PC and Mac. Never actually thought about it, or accidently clicked the choose files thing, but I can look into options there if it is enough of a hassle for people.
  15. I thought the font for the serial looked a bit strange though. Unlike other 64s I've compared.
  16. NEWAVLBP (not even with a very large barge pole).
  17. It's in an auction mate. Currently 1400. Was wondering whether it was worth a punt really. I think some bits really are 64
  18. Agreed. I'm doing this all the time.
  19. Found the other set of john east knobs which will come with it.
  20. Today
  21. I’m in this camp. Looks far too risky to investigate further and there will definitely be others that come along that are less questionable.
  22. If I have to work on one and replace it, I would normally choose brass as the substitute nut. Obviously, if its a vintage instrument then probably bone.
  23. Yes that's the one. Piers and Joe who run it are great.
  24. Is it vintage? Possibly, but it’s hard to tell. Neck looks twisted, frets look awful and the condition is atrocious. Personally I’d walk away as fast as I could. Assume asking £5k +++
  25. On my Mac's (Safari) there seems to be no indication where the text box ends and the area to select a file to upload begins. I can sort of tell, but the background seems to be the same as the text box, with no divider. A few times ive click a bit too low and the window opens up. I can see the curser change from text to an arrow, but personally id like to see a divider separating the two areas.
