Yes, it came with a PSU, I was curious to try the USB power feature. I am very surprised at how long it lasted - got tired of waiting for it to indicate even 25% usage after 90 mins.

Messy or not, what's on your (music) work desk right now?
bass_dinger replied to kiat's topic in General Discussion
Look on ebay for writing desks and Welsh dressers. They are pretty much unsellable especially if they are dark brown wood, and definitely if they are huge. Convert the draw fronts into drop down flaps to reveal a sliding tray for your piano, put your rack unit into the cupboard on the bottom. If the top unit has glass doors, hang curtains inside to obscure the PC monitor and powered monitors. Go big on lots of shelves and alcoves - as you have already discovered, having one single 8'×4' shelf leads to a messy layout. Try also local auction houses, Facebook market place, and house clearance companies. Even if they don't want that sort of furniture, they might be willing to tell you about it. -

Didn't it come with a mains psu? Or are you just experimenting with a power bank?

The really advanced drum machines can drop an entire beat, insert random fills and do an extra-loud snare hit when you bend down to adjust a pedal. -
Can't moan about that.

Joe is new to the forum but please deal with confidence! I’ve just bought a neck from him and it was a super easy transaction with great communication. Welcome to the community Joe!

Weirdly I read this thread and looked up the bass, then went to a gig in the evening where one of the bassists was playing one. Looked cool!

Spector NS Ethos 5 HP in immaculate condition. Gun metal grey high gloss finish with black hardware, upgraded pickups and pre amp with EMG 40P5 at neck position and EMG 40DC at bridge position with LHZ3 pre amp. EQ controls are volume, blend, bass and treble. The tuners have also been upgraded to Gotoh 350 Res-o-lite. This is a thru-neck bass. It comes with a Spector padded gig bag. I’ve had this bass around a year. It has no dings or marks, plays great and sounds fantastic. Only selling as a nasty bill has arrived and I need to get the money from somewhere. No trades thanks. Collection preferred, I live approximately 15 minutes from junctions 14 and 15 of the M1. I will ship however if the buyer wishes to arrange their own courier. The bass has its own gig bag and I have proper bass shipping boxes that it will be sent in. Please note, I took the photos myself and I am blind. I’ve tried to capture the bass as best I can so please bare that in mind whilst viewing them. Spector NS5 Ethos HP proof video.mov

For sale, excellent condition. TWA Krytical Mass. Brassmaster style Fuzz with more than most! Huge sounding with plenty on tap. More tonal variations than other Brassmaster fuzzes in the market. Huge low end and gain on tap, all important clean blend and various 2 lpf's and a hpf for tones, choice of 3 position mids. Edge to add in some top end, bias to get those sputtering synth like sounds, phase inverter to take some low end out if gets too boomy, this can go loud! Web schpiel: Prepare for meltdown with the TWA KM-01 Krytical Mass®! Based on the coveted Maestro Bass Brassmaster, Krytical Mass® was born from exhaustive critical analysis into the inner workings of that Holy Grail device and the few noble attempts that have been made to clone it. Krytical Mass® spits out fat, formidable fuzz with a pronounced octave up as well as a more subtle octave down and a scorching, filter-like sweep on sustained notes. Muted notes will “kill” the fuzz with almost gate-like precision, yielding a super-tight, synth-like pulse that is simply addictive to play. Where other replicas tend to be harsh and sterile sounding, Krytical Mass® is able to capture the aggressive yet warm & organic edge of the original Brassmaster using a unique complement of EQ and voltage manipulation controls. One of the great mysteries of the Brassmaster is its unmarked transformer and how it was wound. Analysis suggests that this component may have actually been wired with negative polarity, so Krytical Mass® includes a switch to toggle between positive & negative phase wirings for additional tonal options. Another unique feature of Krytical Mass® is the ability to adjust the symmetry of the transformer to taste, accentuating either 2nd order harmonics for more lows or higher-order harmonics for more complex waveform content. Also on board are selectable HP, LP and BP filters with adjustable midrange to fine-tune Krytical Mass® to your particular tonal tastes. Fuzz sensitivity of Krytical Mass® can also be controlled via external EXP pedal for dynamic manipulation of the fuzz to create synth-like drive swells and other interesting effects.

Set of rack mount bars for a GK RB amp. I haven’t owned a GK amp for several years but they would have come off of either a 1001RB II or a 700RB III as I owned both. The bars are complete with all parts including screws. No trades thanks. Price includes shipping to locations within the UK. I took the photos myself and I am blind, so my apologies if they look like they were taken by a drunk person.

Something like this for sure. Retro monitors mounted at an angle. Like from a James Bond film. Bonus points if you have facial recognition software which prints out pictures of Chick Corea -
No. It was pixelated out on the original sale advert, so pretty obvious what was going on. There wasn't any communication from the seller.

I was going to suggest the Boss XS-100/XS-1 but then checked the price... similarly spendy as the above. I'd have to check but the EHX Mono Bass Synth might do something that fits the bill when paired with an expression pedal.
