  4. Great Amp, have one myself, Has 'Enough" power for acoustic sessions through a good cab. Valves easy to replace and relatively cheap. GLWTS
  5. Where are you parked? 🤣
  6. In my experience Bass Direct,Andertons,Guitar Guitar and Wunjos in London answer each and every email. It can be done.
  7. I've got a pair of HD 206's, bit bass light for me, and they don't fit over my big ears easily
  8. Then it's on Will at BassBros to do the same? If he hasn't then...
  9. I've dealt with Bass Bros on tree or four occasions (bought, sold & part ex'd) and it has always been a positive experience. I have never emailed them, not once. I have always phoned Will, followed by sending pictures, etc on WhatsApp if necessary. Just pick up the phone, every time...
  10. @Aalin, the newer piezo pickups (one per string) installed is the RMC and as great as it can be on a fretted, the Fishman BP-100 twin piezo is more able to capture the acoustic tone of the instrument, that's why I asked to put one in my U-Basse 6 fretless (the last ever built as my friend Christophe is retired now) with the Fishman PowerChip preamp that gives you back the slightly missing low end. Where are you located in France ?

  12. 34👍🏽
  13. Good idea, it’s a bit taller than I would have liked but I’m sure once I’ve got some cables going in and out of it I won’t notice. Still on the hunt for another case, just going to be shoving it in my bag for the next few weeks 😅
  14. I live in London and that doesn't hinder my trips to Warwick 😊 In fact I spoke to a customer once in The Gallery who came specifically to see them from the US. The fact remains that The Gallery and Bass Direct are the two largest UK based Bass specialists. The Galley will deliver to you and offer a return window if distance is an issue.
  15. It's a so beautifull bass that on stage even if you play badly, people will like your playing. No I'm jocking. 😀😀
  16. I bought this new in 2022 for a live band project that never came off. As a result, it’s never really been used other than to get upgraded to the version 2 firmware and some playing around to get the hang of it. These got a poor reception when they were first released but the version 2 firmware addressed most, if not all, of the criticisms making this a really powerful polyphonic sequencer that has loads of connection options and a ton of flexibility. (On the subject of connections, it should be noted that this has mini-Jack MIDI sockets and needs a Type-A connector. Also, it’s powered by USB and will also take power from a Korg 9v power adaptor but, again, please be aware that this isn’t the standard Boss-type centre-negative PSU and is a centre-positive type with a different barrel size. UPDATE: I just tracked down the Korg PSU that I bought to go with the SQ64 so I’ll include that as well). It’s in the original box and is in mint condition. Available for inspection here in sunny Cleethorpes or can be posted in the UK for a fiver. Please PM with any questions!
  17. I play it sitting as a regular bass, some play it like a cello
  18. Allow me to once again look at the email thing from the shop's side: IME as a former shop owner (mainly high-end sea kayaks), email is the least efficient way of really helping customers and also the least efficient way of surviving as a shop. Of course, there's a huge difference between the email: - "Could I visit the store on Sunday when it's officially closed? " and the email (of which I've had more than enough) : - "Your kayak "Greenlander" vs. competitor's kayak "Transporter". Discuss. " There are many aspects to this, but among those: - It starts with half-interested customers firing short emails at several shops at a time, demanding lengthy answers. - It's incredibly time consuming to answer well, especially when you do not know the customer in question, and do not know their aims or their needs. - Even when you decide to answer well, there's no impressive revenue as a result. Revenue comes from people phoning in and especially from people actually visiting the shop and trying out the kayaks that might fit. I could go on and on. A quick, live, exchange of thoughts, the shop asking the right questions and responding well to the answers (and in my case: seeing the customer on the water) helps the customer best and at the same time helps keep the shop afloat. My website specifically asked people to avoid email because of its inefficiency.
  19. One of the best tracking octavers I've tried. Usual OCT1/OCT2 plus blend. Great condition.
  20. Classic bass synth pedal. It's seen a lot of action and it has a few marks and scratches, but it's only cosmetic.
  21. Analog cab simulation, very tweakable, includes adjustable HPF, EQ, it works as a headphone amp, and with TS and balanced XLR outputs. Great condition, just a bit dusty...
  22. Independently footswitchable clean boost + VLE (low pass filter) and VPF (a bit like a 'contour' control, scooping mids while boosting low/highs). Standard TS output plus balanced DI output (XLR). Original MarkBass power supply included (but it works fine on standard 9V supplies - I used it for years with a T-Rex Junior supply, you just get a bit more headroom if powwered at 12V) Bypass can be buffered or true-bypass (switch at the bottom).

  23. I confirm the box/papers exist and will be included
  24. Dropped to £80 each.
  25. Tried the TB10 a few years back. Loved the tone, but too heavy for me to gig with for long unless sitting. I didn’t get to try it upright with the pin out but guessing you wouldn’t be able to stand as not long enough. Would be a great all rounder studio instrument I think.
