  2. Both of the 1x15" cabs sold. I do still have one 4x10" RBH cab, if someone would like it!
  3. Thanks for posting more pictures, that really is such a lovely looking bass. Time certainly flies!
  4. More photos of the 6-string Corvette...

  6. Don't Speak - No Doubt
  7. Hi If this hasn't gone I'll happily take it. Thanks Rob
  8. Meths is very good. You can also use it to remove gunk left over from Velcro. Rob
  9. Sound of Silence - Simon and Garfunkel
  10. Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knows how I'd go about modding a DD-3 to take an expression pedal to control the delay time? Looking at the schematic, I think I've got a loose idea how to do it, but if anyone has any actual experience, that'd be preferable to me taking a blind stab at it and screwing the pedal up.
  11. Just a note of caution... beware if you have a sensitivity to silicone. I had no idea I had one, but then I decided to buy a U-Bass, and started getting rashes on my fingers when I played it. So it ended up getting returned. Great sound with a proper upright "thud", weighs nothing, but is not hypoallergenic!
  12. Recently got this TC Eldctronic Vortex Flanger in a trade, it’s the bigger 4 knob version with 3 modes Inc toneprint. Works a treat, runs on 9v - got a multiFX unit coming that’s gonna cover me for things like Modulation so I’m shifting a few pedals like this one cheap to cover the cost of it £35 inc UK Shipping
  13. Nice one, get the sound you want out the cab it's gonna be 98 percent there going out your Di, any other cab your gonna be compensating for that baked in tone, sound great in stage, but Di feed is not gonna be what you sound like. Persevere, as it took me some doing and I have super compacts with tweeters, although I have a medium ISH pedal board and I love my sansamp!
  14. Agreed on all counts - I paid [used] over £900 for my Aubergine one, and yes, they are excellent basses. There's something about the American Performer. I've got the Competition Burgundy Vintera II as well and nice bass though it is, the Am.Perf is genuinely a step above in both playability and quality. Definitely one of my go-to basses. Best of luck with the sale, Davy.

  16. There are other kinds of guitard? 🤔 who knew ?
  17. Cheers, I’ve used Jon on a couple of jobs before and he’s the only guy I’d trust on a pricey bass.
  18. Just back from the Audio Lounge in Glasgow after a gig with the punk band. We were second out of four and went down really well. Quite a small venue - it certainly isn't the Barrowland - but I'm really warming to more intimate spaces. The Stingray acquitted itself well, although it's getting a bit clattery. I think it's going to have to go to Chris McIntyre for him to work his magic. The backline was deffo old skool - SVT plus Workingman 810. Awesome sound and it was great to feel the air hitting the backs of my legs but completely OTT for such a small room. I wasn't complaining though, as for once I had enough oomph to hear myself over our volume 11 guitarist!
  19. I bought this “burgundy “ EB strap from a NZ family music store which is unfortunately closing down I think it’s sort of ok cosmetically
  20. I bought it, Dear Reader the seller was very happy to see it go to a good home and I’ve passed on The Good Word Of basschat it’s not pretty, but it seems to work (quietly) at zoom output level. When the speakon to 6.35 lead arrives I will try it on full throttle from my TC bh250
