I bought an Ashdown RM 800 from Paul. It was a very smooth and easy transaction: great comms, well packed and promptly dispatched. The amp was as described and I am very happy with the whole transaction. Buy with confidence.

Sunburst 2500 in suburst/maple board with original case and certificates. The odd lifemark - only thing of significance is a dent/scrape on the bottom edge (see photo, bear in mind the battery compartment screw for size). Neck all happy. Can do it in a G&L gig bag for £950 if that helps - or can add that for another £50. Sending is no problem - I'm famous for my packing. P/X/swaps considered. Note: Photos are older, so there's no 'proof' signature or such.

I don't know who originally made it but I've had it a couple of years and added a Thunderbird neck. It's had a Rickenbacker 5 string pickup, so will need re-routing for another shape. Has a KiOgan wiring loom and the cavities have copper conductive tape. Paint job - not good - Halfords finest put on too quickly and not sanded down. Top is finished with a vinyl wrap (which doesn't hide the paint inconsistencies underneath). Great if you want that 'Rat' look.

I would think any full-scale 24-fret neck with (what I assume is) standard Fender heel shape/dimensions could be made to fit. Unless you can find a random 80s Ibby neck with the correct proportions (which is wildly unlikely) you'll have to improvise/do some modding, or at least shimming to make it work. Is the original neck definitely unsalvageable? And do change the thread title!

Selling my Hamer Slammer. MIK in the 90s. Pretty sure the pickups are unbranded Dimarzios, very lively and punchy Excellent condition, a tiny bit of rash and a few v small lacquer chips on the back, as per pics. This is a really well built instrument, the neck has a smooth matte finish, feels and sounds great. Comes in gig bag £275 posted to your door thanks for looking

Personally I've always considered that the electronics package and construction has more bearing than the tonewood. I generally look for something reasonably lightweight but not so lightweight that blowing on it causes a dent.

Bought a guitar from Sean. Very good communication, a well packaged item and overall smooth, easy transaction. Cheers Sean.

Back from having guitar tech mate look at it. all earths were ok - couple of connections he didn’t like so resoldered - which has sorted the low end break up - but still making noise only when touching poles others have had same problem and said nail varnish or electrical tape. I’m going down the Joe Dart route and tape it.

Funnily, in Latin, the plural form of status is still ... status, in the nominative form and it can never become statii, which doesn't exist. But what do they know, indeed. 🤔🤪
