What a gorgeous thing.

The "hole" near the attachment arm, isn't a blemish.... it's for adjusting the neck angle. I should have mentioned in my first post, that the necks on these are removable, for packing down smaller for taking on tour / air transport etc. But the beauty of the system is that you can finely adjust the neck angle to set up to your preference, and it's really quick & easy to do.

All Subway amp models are current and in production. Your Mesa dealer can order the bag for you, all international sales go through the dealer network. If your dealer can't (or won't) order a replacement bag, message me and I will look up some options for you. Be sure to let me know where you are located.

I don't recall ever seeing a fan control relay used with Ashdown's Little Giant models, are you sure you are looking at the right thing?

Do bear in mind that I always have my harmoniser pedal at waist height so that I can set it (accurately) before each song. I never have it on the floor as a stomp box. My go-to remains https://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/TC-Helicon-VoiceTone-H1-Intelligent-Harmony-Vocal-Processor/FXN?origin=product-ads&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22236638134&gbraid=0AAAAAD_kjLSYoaPe6Vki0IoZkWZzVzzfh&gclid=Cj0KCQiA49XMBhDRARIsAOOKJHY-Tzg4DBE4he920WXLzBmRI_WU576QgGSrAn_FsciO1nnn4gCQ8SwaAgsdEALw_wcB I've used mine at hundreds of gigs, on every type of stage, and I am completely comfortable with it ... how it works, what it does. As previously mentioned, I have some pitch correction in front of it to avoid trainwrecks, which is particularly important when singing BVs (which is exclusively what I use it for) since a Cher-style warble would likely throw off the lead vox too. The TC Harmony Singer seems to be only operable by your guitar (?or bass) but costs the same as the TC Helicon VoiceTone H1, so that's an easy no-no for me. The key issue here is that I must be able to dictate to the pedal exactly what key to base its harmonies off, rather than relying on it to recognise the harmonies I want from my bassline. That's what the H1 delivers for me with no risk of suddently going off piste. I'm not familiar with the offerings from EHX and others so I really can't comment - though I will say that the EHX Intelligent Harmony Machine looks deeply scary. If you're talking lead vocals and need to add auto-BVs then you should probably take a look at the TC Helicon Voice Live series but please don't treat that as a recommendation ... personally I'm not a fan, and I think a lot of these pedals are obsessed with the number of silly noises they can make. Biggest surprise is probably the Mooer Harmonier. I have a lot of time for Mooer pedals and their sensible pricing strategy was most welcome when they emerged a few years back, but this pedal is just strange. It manages to combine maximum awkwardness in live use with a price double that of the TC Electronics equivalent. Go figure.

Of course they would have to be For Sale first😊

Stealth started following Giggable Combo no extension cab
-
I’m playing some gigs the year with a “lighter” rock covers / function band. Vocal only PA pubs and clubs. Loudish drummer and 2 guitars. Combo wise what delivers volume without needing an extension cab to get full power. I tried a TC BG250 115 it does the job but it pretty much flat out zero headroom. Budget is around a grand cheaper would be super lol Whats Worked for you

Hi Ashy Not sure whether you've pulled the trigger and made your mind up yet? If not, I'd thoroughly recommend going for the BB424x. I bought a BB425x last May (from Andertons) and absolutely adore it. If feels great to play and sings to me. Despite being Passive it's surprisingly flexible with its range of tones and quite a monster too. I own 33 basses and the 425x is one of my very favourites.

I'd have a look at Schaller BM lites, from memory the locating pins may well be similar to the originals. Less woodworking hopefully! -

Dave and Mark are good people and, as an on-and-off (mostly on) user of Ashdown gear since 2003, they've never been anything less than excellent with their customer service. They even helped me out with a bit of tour support about 10 years back, which was above and beyond, considering I'm basically a nobody who was playing in an unsigned band at the time (UK tour supporting a well-known 1980s rock singer and his band). I did have an issue recently with a RM-800 Evo III I bought from Reverb, and I didn't hear back from them in a timely manner because of the chaos of NAMM. I just ended up returning it to the seller, no harm done. I'll pick up one of the new UK-made ones when they become available.

I've just done a NBD post on my recently purchased Rivolta Duocata if you're interested. -
I keep buying these as I love them, but keep needing to sell for other things. Once I sell my Bergantino head, im going back to EBS amps which have it built in (albeit much simpler) Probably the best value for money compressor you can get. This is the third "Studio Edition" of the legendary EBS comp, which features the classic three modes Tube SIM - adds a lovely warmth and Thickness to the mids. Great for Growly rock tones. Multi band - compress the highs and lows seperately, tames the high end snaps and leave the low end a bit less compressed for depth and clarity. Great for equalizing between a finger and slap tone. Normal - the classic EBS sound found on their amp heads. Nice Transparent tone, that gently evens the tone, without adding Colour This comp is a great choice for people that want variety and great tone, but very easy to use. This is in fantastic condition, with Velcro on bottom. £85 incl UK only delivery

If was after something to double on gigs with my upright bass. In order to quickly put down the upright and pick up the electric bass it needed to be lightweight and shortscale. The band is all acoustic (through PA) so I wanted it to look right as well. I saw Eastwood selling Rivolta guitars on their website and they were making twelve of these Duocata basses and it ticked all the boxes. I do like the look of Rickenbackers and love a florentine cut. These basses have checkerboard binding and more than a hint of Rickenbacker about them, the soundclips were good so I ordered one. It was a gamble as I'd never heard of Rivolta before but it paid off, this little bass is fantastic. So well made, so playable and sounds great. Simple, single PU, volume and tone but there's so much variation in tone with playing position. I'm really fussy but I really can't fault this bass, well I can but it's three really minor things that most people would never notice, or let bother them. The volume control is a touch on the on/off side, there is a tiny bit of plastic swarf on the inner lower edge of the 'f' hole binding, and the biggest bug is that the scratchplate isn't perfectly aligned to the strings. Told you I was fussy. All easily sorted though. The woods, the grain and the colour is lovely. The neck is a three piece with two more strips on the headstock, like a Rickenbacker albeit they're all the same wood. I don't know what tuners they are but they feel solid and stable. Nor do I know what pickup it is but it sounds great. The binding everywhere is perfect, you cannot feel any edges, the frets are nicely finished, paint is perfect, just a really well made bass. They're made in Indonesia then sent to Rivolta in Nashville where they set them up and QC them, it arrive still in tune really nicely set up. Anyway, enough waffle, pictures 😁.

Best pedal you've bought under £50?
Jean-Luc Pickguard replied to Yorkshire Bottom End's topic in Effects
The ADI21 is rather good on electric upright bass. When I had a Dean Pace it was an always on effect. I've also used it to great effect with my NS-design CR-5M. -

Limited edition only 50 made I believe, feel free to correct me if I’m wrong! Gated fuzz with two channels, channel 1 bypasses the tone pot and channel 2 includes the tone. Plus it has clean blend so you can quite a few different sounds out of it. Does that really spitty Velcro fuzz sound very well! There’s a couple of videos on YouTube showing what it can do. It’s not on my board anymore and I’ve been toying with selling it for a while now, mostly just with it being a limited run and it’s pretty cool but ultimately I just don’t use it these days and the money could be put to better use elsewhere. Annoyingly I don’t have the original box, must’ve lost it during a house move, but it will be packaged up securely. Price includes UK postage, cheers
