  3. Hiya, I bought these last week for the bitsa P bass I am working on - sadly they don’t fit so I’m putting them up for sale. They were sold as “Kluson-style” bass machine heads and appear to be identical size and fitting to Fender Japan ones. They seem to be very well made, they work smoothly and are in near mint condition. They come with all the relevant screws and ferrules to fit them. Gutted they don’t fit my bass to be honest. There doesn’t seem to be anything that acts as a converter kit to put slimmer tuners in wider holes, so back to the drawing board for me I’m afraid. UK postage included in the price. I’ve put a regular sized 1970s Fender P bass tuner next to them for size comparison (it’s not for sale). I can dig out measurements if you need them. Any questions give us a shout. Cheers

  7. V1 Tyler great for blending in pedals with some lows or blending two pedals together
  8. I’ve been playing both pick and finger style since I started and like to think I do so very comfortably but I did play electric guitar before switching to bass due to the fact my hands are too big to play a guitar comfortably so that’s more than likely helped
  9. Now includes a Basic " Sonik " GigBag.

  11. Since the separation and privatisation of Royal Mail & Parcelforce from The Post Office there can’t be much disagreement that they’ve both gone downhill. Thankfully The Post Office was retained under Govt ownership.
  12. I sold a P bass to Adrian. Very prompt payment and when things went absolutely pear shaped courtesy of Parcelforce, he was most understanding and patient whilst I sorted things out. Nice friendly BCer.
  13. Ampeg PF500/Genz Benz 1 x 15 cab. Downsizing and these are now surplus.I have owned the amp from new and it's been well looked after . No issues and never let me down. These amps are bullet proof! Check specs online,it's loud and punchy with a great range of sounds. The speaker is from the very well regarded American company Genz Benz. It's from the Focus range check online for specs.I recently sold the 4 x 10 version of this and have used them in many live situations over the last 5 years.I will be sad to see this pair go but not getting any younger..Can be tried and tested in Banknock, near Falkirk. Price is the pair but could split.
  14. Is there any way of knowing, I took the neck off and there's just a red written "C" on it?
  15. It's possible if you provide the goods which are actually worth the asking price. Compare and contrast with Epiphone's prices ticking upward, but giving basically the same instruments they always did, as well as creating strange anomalies like a bolt on single pickup Grabber costing more than a thru neck, two pickup Thunderbird or a hollow bodied Jack Casady (which surely *must* cost more to make than a Grabber). It makes no sense at all.
  16. Again agree. Since we started Knock Off in 2013 we played all over the country. At our first Rebellion in 2015 we must have had 700 watching us (1000 capacity room) whereas bands who’d been on the scene for years, but only played locally were getting much smaller audiences.

  18. A tad confused. Are you quitting bass playing altogether , or are you still going to be playing at home ?
  19. Just got my hands on the Damnation Dirt Mixer. I also borrowed a reamp box which is super handy for experimenting. Back to the pedal drawing board… So far I’m leaning towards the Venus and Dagger for a good balance between clanky boost and a crispy distortion tone. The Black Math is a lot of fun though and infinitely more useable with the Dirt Mixer.
  20. Result! Looks ace, well done 👍
  21. Looks like a squier sonic with fake decal.
  22. Sorry to hear this . I haven’t used parcelforce , but used. Royal Mail many times over . Nothing is perfect as we know , and EVRI is my enemy . However what does infuriate me with Royal Mail , is proving that they need to compensate you when they lose or damage things ! That is when I hate them with a passion . When they delivered rare vinyl damaged . The process of uploading the jpegs , quoting the size/ depth/ width of the item is soul destroying! Then they have a cheek to tell me I am not being compensated after providing them with all the proof required . That is when they are a p.o.s ! When as you say , you see your item in the post office and you have to prove it is yours when they should have collected it is extracting the urine ! There are a couple of occasions where I purchased vinyl on eBay for it to go missing via Royal Mail , and I got refunded in a pleasant manner on both occasions from the eBay sellers . I made sure of course to leave great feedback . Regarding the damaged item , the vinyl want rare , but the 12” gatefold cover was. I refunded the postal charge where I was ripped off from Royal Mail , and the buyer thankfully left good feedback explaining that I resolved the issue . Hopefully I can stop buying and selling stuff eventually 🙂

  24. I purchased this bass as a backup to my other P basses, the person I bought from didn't know its origin but it's a really nice bass that plays really well. It's got a "Fender" decal on the headstock but it's NOT a Fender as far as I know, it was the Jazz neck that drew me to it because I have J necks on all my basses because I prefer the narrower neck. It's in unmarked condition and plays and sounds great, the pickups are powerful and have that typical Precision tone. You are welcome to come and try it at my home in Bridgnorth. Collection preferred but might ship if buyer arranges the courier, of maybe meet up within a reason distance from Bridgnorth.
  25. When they were still in Brooklyn I spent a couple of hours at the Sadowsky workshop trying all their demo models. IMO every single one sounded better with the pre-amp turned off.
